Steely Rose Hauser Is 'As Beautiful as the Sunset' to Her Father Cole Hauser
Steely Rose Hauser is the third child of actors Cole Hauser and Cynthia Daniel. Although her father sometimes spends long periods away from her, they seem to be able to make time for each other and enjoy each other's company.
Steely Rose is ten years old, but she already seems interested in the entertainment business as she joined her father on the set of "Yellowstone" while shooting season five. While on set, her father captured the moment and posted a photo of the two.
The image seems to have stolen the show, figuratively and literally, because after the photo was released, many fans quickly noticed that Steely Rose had some resemblance to her father's co-star, Jen Landon. The similarities were seen, particularly in their pink hair. What else is known about Steely Rose?
Steely Rose Just Celebrated Her 10th Birthday
From her parents' posts about her, Steely seems to be a jokester. In an Instagram post by her mother celebrating her 10th birthday, a series of heartwarming pictures accompanied the words, "Happy 10th, Steely! There's never a dull moment when your (sic) around. Thanks for keeping us laughing. We love you beyond words."
Cynthia and Cole welcomed Steely in December 2012; their only baby girl has rarely left their sights. The parents spend significant time with her in various activities. On one occasion, her father shared a video of her piloting a boat, and she handled the situation with aplomb.
Another post from her proud and encouraging father shows his little girl learning to ride a pony. Dressed in cowgirl attire, Steely took her first steps of horse riding and seemed to be enjoying it as the milestone was captured on camera.
Steely Rose Is the Daughter of a Famous Actor
Steely Rose's father, Cole, is a famous name in Hollywood. He began his career in 1992 with "School Ties," which starred fellow upcoming actors such as Brendan Fraser and best friends Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Arguably, Cole has had the least glamorous career of the four, but his career and the movies he has been in are impressive.
He later appeared alongside Damon and Affleck again in the critically acclaimed "Good Will Hunting" in 1997. In 2003, he appeared alongside Bruce Wills in "Tears of the Sun." A notable disappointment about his career is a lack of leading roles, having only portrayed leading characters in a handful of films, including "Paparazzi."
Steely Rose's parents have been together since the 1990s and married in December 2006. His mother was also a notable actress in the 90s, with a leading role in the television series, "Sweet Valley High." However, she retired from acting after the conclusion of the series in 1997.
Before taking Steely with him to the set of "Yellowstone" in season five, Cole spoke about the difficulties of being away from his family while shooting the series. He said he taught his boys to care for their mother and sister when he was away. The father of three is very fond of Steely, whom he considers "as beautiful as the sunset."
Steely Rose Has Two Older Brothers
Cole Hauser and Cynthia share three children, two boys, and one girl. Steely Rose is the youngest of the three. She has an older brother named Ryland Hauser, who was born in 2004 before their parents were married.
Like his younger sibling, little is known about him, except that he describes himself as an athlete. From his parents' social media, one can see that he is into football and plays for his high school team at Jensen Beach High School.
In January 2008, Cynthia and Cole announced that baby number two was on the way. About six months later, there was more good news when the family welcomed Colt Daniel Hauser on June 12. The then-newest of the Hausers was born in California. On an Instagram post celebrating his 13th birthday, he already towered over his mother.
Colt already has his own Instagram, so his parents are not trying to keep him hidden from the world. Still, his page only shows two photos, although he already has a considerable number of followers at more than 1400 as of writing. One of the two images shows fish that he potentially caught, and the other is a tribute to NFL legend John Madden.
