Trea Turner's Wife Attended the Same College as Him & Was a Gymnast: Meet Kristen Harabedian
Trea Turner's wife, Kristen Turner, has turned frequent domestic flights into a finely tuned routine worthy of an Olympic medal. Their son, Beckham, became a frequent flyer within a month of being born.
Collage sweethearts Kristen Turner and Trea Turner's relationship survived years of long-distance and grueling training schedules from their sporting careers.
The former Yankee supporter had to change her affiliation again when her husband signed with the Philadelphia Phillies in late 2022. More about the gymnast who was a loyal Swiftie in her youth.

Kristen Harabedian Is a Former Gymnast
Years before enrolling in elementary school, Kristen Harabedian, born May 13, 1992, was already training to become a gymnast at Shields Gymnastics in Flemington, New Jersey. She switched to Arena Gymnastics in Princeton and started competing when she was nine.
The sportswoman was named the 2008 Central Jersey Section 2 Gymnast of the Year. The same year she and teammates Maria Bryant and Corrine Stiffler, nicknamed "The Three Muskateers," led Hunterdon Central High School to its first-ever sectional title.
As a teenager, her dream dinner party guests were Derek Jeter, Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson, and Taylor Swift. She was raised in a family of dedicated Yankee fans, and her brother played baseball while her sister played softball.
The gymnast's favorite and best event at competitions was the uneven bars, as she "liked the skills." As a junior at North Carolina State University, she received a high score of 9.725 in uneven parallel bars, which helped the team win at a January 2013 competition.
The bride wore a plunging Pronovias wedding dress.
Harabedian trains in Florida. She has done brand partnerships for Cozy Earth and MVMT from her Instagram platform of 24,100 followers at the time of publication.
Kristen & Trea Met at University but Only Married Years Later
Kristen met Trea in October 2011 when they were both student-athletes at North Carolina State University. The sporty pair got engaged in June of 2017 after dating for five years.
The paramours, raised in the Catholic faith, booked St. Joseph's in Washington D.C. for their November 10, 2018, ceremony and took over all three floors of the National Museum of Women in the Arts for the reception.
The bride wore a plunging Pronovias wedding dress and had the lace edge cape converted into a classic veil. Artfully taken in the Union Market District, their engagement photos were printed in the lining of the groom's custom navy STITCHED suit.
The couple had opted not to have a first look before the ceremony, which Kristen said made the moment memorable, "The moment when I walked down the aisle with my dad and saw Trea for the first time is one I'll always remember!"
Trea's older sister Teal Turner was one of her bridesmaids. The bride also tapped former N.C. State teammate Ellen Marion Holden and Alyssa McAloney from her high school team for her bridal party of five dressed in blush one-shoulder gowns.
The newlyweds had their first dance to Ed Sheeran's "Perfect," played by an acoustic guitarist, who had to later make way for the Washington Nationals' DJ to play deep into the night.
The Turners Have a Baby Boy
Kristen and Trea became first-time parents to Beckham Dash Turner in February 2021, weighing in at 6lb 15oz. The former gymnast was still playing golf with her husband while she was seven months pregnant. She was treated to a beach babymoon in November 2020.
The couple split their time between Florida and the city that the baseball player represents at the time. Baby Beckman took his first flight of many in a private plane with his mom and grandma in March 2021.
The baseball player was out of town for Kristen's thirtieth birthday. The thirty-year joked that Beckham "had to step up and make the birthday cake all by himself."
On her first Mother's Day in May 2021, Trea posted, "It was a special one with you and him in the stands! Little man is lucky to have you. We are lucky to have you! We love you!"
