After years in the music industry, Hill is commonly known as the face of country music, selling millions of records worldwide. Having spent so many years in the public eye, Hill admitted to feeling the pressure of beauty standards placed on women.

For a moment, the legendary country singer followed beauty tips and tricks like layering makeup, and she reportedly admitted to botox injections in the past. But over the years, she came to love her natural state, and Hill shared that her husband does as well.

After a magazine cover with her husband in December 2021, Hill sparked rumors that she had had work done to her face. The country singer posed in her husband's arms, wearing a beaming smile and sporting a youthful glow. Barely a wrinkle in sight, Hill opted for a red shirt and her natural curls.

While Hill is not one to often speak about whether or not she has had plastic surgery, her fans took to social media to voice their thoughts about how much her looks have changed. One fan wrote:

"Sorry, but Faith isn't nearly as pretty as before her face surgery. I just saw her on a program and didn't recognize her. Sad."

Another Twitter user agreed that Hill had become unrecognizable, while another person wrote, "Her eyes and nose definitely look different." A fourth person stated, "She looks different."

During an interview, Hill called the internet "cruel," as it often serves as a breeding ground for people to share their unfiltered opinions about other people's looks.

When she was younger, Hill admitted to following "terrible" beauty trends like perming her hair, despiting having natural curls, and the '80s caked-on makeup look– the reason she rarely wears makeup nowadays. Her husband is also a fan of her natural good looks, as Hill shared:

"He likes when I have no makeup and crazy-curly hair. Before I put it up into a ponytail, he always tells me to wear it down because it's his favorite."

Faith and her husband share three daughters, who the singer revealed were into makeup. From their perfect eyeliner skills to great brows, Hill joked that her daughters had a better beauty regime than she did.

However, in her household, Hill ensured her daughters knew that beauty on the inside was just as important as beauty on the outside.

Hill emphasized to her daughters the importance of realistic and healthy beauty standards, stating, "People can see your heart by the expressions on your face and by the way you carry yourself– they can see your happiness."

As aging is an inevitable part of life, Faith Hill does her best not to give it much thought. She never wanted her daughters to see her worrying over every wrinkle as she feared what message it would send to them. She added:

"I really do swear by the fact that if you are happy and if you spread that happiness, your skin will be rosy, your smile will be bigger, your eyes will be brighter— no matter what decade you are in, no matter what stage of life you are in."

Hill has admitted to enjoying her laugh lines as they showed people how much she had smiled. She had left her trend-following days behind her and said, "Each day is a blessing."
