Grandma Sharon Osbourne Is 'So Proud' Talking about Her Hidden Grandson after Confirming His Birth

In November 2022, Sharon Osbourne's daughter, Kelly Osbourne, welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, Sid Wilson. The baby boy was Kelly's first child with the Slipknot member.

According to a publication, the television personality's child was named Sid, short for Sydney, after his father. In January 2023, Sharon, then 70, gave an update about her grandson.

The "X Factor" judge revealed that she'd stepped in to help her daughter to change the three-month-old's diapers. During a "The Talk" appearance, Sharon said her daughter and grandchild were doing great.

She also shared how it was all "just so great, so great," but her daughter wouldn't "let a picture go out of him" and noted how proud she was of Kelly. While on "TalkTV," Sharon's new granddaughter came when the panel discussed the grandparents' involvement in their grandchildren's lives.

The television personality confessed that she was still involved in her grandchildren's lives and had five. However, Sharon explained that she only played an active role in the children's lives when her son allowed her.

The star's son limited her access to the grandchildren because she spoiled them too much, and then he had to deal! Besides having a new addition in the Osbourne home, Kelly's child also brought newfound happiness.

How Did Kelly's Pregnancy Bring Her Closer to Her Mom & Dad?

During another interview, Kelly officially confirmed that she had given birth to a baby boy. She also discussed how she had a great support system to assist in caring for her son.

The first-time mother hilariously revealed how her father, Ozzy Osbourne, had told everyone the gender of her baby before she had the chance to! Kelly said her father was so excited about having a grandson that he had a dance he did in celebration.

Her son was the first grandson between Kelly and her brother, Jack Osbourne, and Ozzy was planning all sorts of things, like buying the child air rifles, which the new mother didn't agree to. Jack was a father to four girls.

The British television personality once revealed that she wasn't the only one thrilled about their grandson's arrival. Her husband told Jack the love between a child and their parent was "so special," adding:

"You will never experience a love like this, other than a father and a daughter. It's a very, very special love.”

After Kelly announced her pregnancy, an insider claimed the development had brought the star and her mother much closer. The insider alleged that Sharon was giving her daughter lots of motherly advice.

Ozzy's wife ensured her daughter was fully prepared to be a mother. The source said Sharon gave Kelly tips on how to sleep, how to eat, how to exercise, what to wear, and what to do and vice versa, plus much more, but she also maintained her relationship with Ozzy.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne Are Still "In Love"

In 2022, Sharon and her husband celebrated 40 years of marriage and revealed their secrets for lasting that long. Kelly's mother shared how she and Ozzy never gave up on each other throughout their relationship.

She confessed that she and her husband weren't saints as she'd given him as good as she got, but believed they were meant to be. Sharon also had to accept that they couldn't change each other.

She [Kelly Osbourne] thanked the pair for showing her what “true love is.”

The star noted how in the beginning, she'd believed he'd change and calm down after he'd been with her for a while. So she had to learn how to be accepting; as per Ozzy, one went through fallouts but had to carry on with the marriage afterwards, adding:

"I believe you only have one real love in your life. I'm still in love with my wife. That's the main thing."

In July 2018, Kelly took to her Instagram account to celebrate the love her parents shared. She wished the pair a Happy Anniversary and revealed they were 36 years into it but still going strong.

The former "Fashion Police" presenter also included a photo of Sharon and Ozzy at their wedding in 1982. She thanked the pair for showing her what “true love is.”
