Lyla Aranya Wilson Has Reportedly Never Seen Her Famous Father – Meet Owen Wilson's Daughter

Although still young, Lyla Aranya Wilson is already getting attention from people she has never met, all thanks to her famous father, Owen Wilson. However, the comedian seems to have no relationship with his daughter and even took a paternity test to verify that she is his.

Owen Wilson is an actor known for his roles in "Zoolander," "Wedding Crashers," "You, Me and Dupree," "The Big Year," and "The Internship." Given his celebrity status, fans have taken an interest in his personal life, including his children.

Among them, Lyla is the least, if at all, mentioned by the actor. While little is known about Lyla, her face can be seen in nearly every recent post on her mother's Instagram, and it seems she is enjoying her childhood.

Lyla's Father Did a Paternity Test

Born Lyla Aranya Wilson on October 9, 2018, the young girl is Owen Wilson's daughter with his ex-girlfriend Varunie Vongsvirates. Physically, Lyla had a strong resemblance to her father, but that was not enough for the actor to believe she was his child.

The comedian doesn't even mention Lyla during interviews, although he mentions his other kids, with whom he seemingly has close relationships.

Vongsvirates, American Addiction Center's business development representative, dated Lyla's father for five years before their daughter was born. According to an insider, the comedian was well aware of Vongsvirates' pregnancy but did not contact her during this period.

Their broken relationship did not change after Lyla was born, and despite all they had been through, Owen Wilson still took a paternity test to ensure that the child was his. An insider claimed that he "refuses to meet his daughter," adding:

"He even checked the no visitation box in court in June. He does not want to visit [and does not] want any custody of her."

However, reports claimed he made a one-off payment for his ex-partner's legal fees, labor coach, and night nurse. He also gives about $25,000 per month in child support, but he reportedly has nothing to do with Lyla besides finances.

In 2019, Vongsvirates revealed that she begged the "Wonder" star to be present in Lyla's life, claiming she needs a father. However, he never met his daughter. Vongsvirates took a jab at her ex, noting the irony of his many on-screen father roles, which is far from the man he is in reality.

The comedian doesn't even mention Lyla during interviews, although he mentions his other kids, with whom he seemingly has close relationships. In 2021, Owen Wilson gave a glimpse of fatherhood and life with his two boys but left out details about his daughter.

Lyla has no half-siblings from her mom's side but is the youngest of three on her dad's side. In 2011, Lyla's eldest brother, Robert Ford Wilson, was born from Owen's relationship with Jude Duell, his ex-girlfriend.

Although Robert's parents ended their relationship after his birth, he maintains a good relationship with his father. From time to time, the two have been spotted bonding in public.

Lyla's other brother, Finn Lindqvist, born on January 30, 2014, was the result of Owen's relationship with another ex, Caroline Lindqvist. Like Robert's mom, Finn's mom co-parents with Owen.
