Rihanna Has 5 Siblings, 3 of Whom Lead a Mostly Private Life
While most of Rihanna's siblings have maintained a close bond with the singer, her eldest sister admitted to having scarce communication with the pop star due to their busy lives. However, the Fenty siblings are a blended "big happy family" despite having different mothers.
Rihanna's parents, Ronald Fenty and Monica Braithwaite, were married for 14 years and welcomed the "Work" singer and her two younger brothers during that time. While she is the most well-known Fenty sibling, her brothers have also gained a significant social media following.
Ronald, a self-proclaimed ladies' man, fathered an additional three children with three different women before his relationship with Monica, which ended due to his highly publicized drug addiction. Unlike her younger brothers, Rihanna's three half-siblings have enjoyed a quiet life away from the spotlight.
Kandy Fenty
Rihanna was 15 when she met her eldest half-sister, Kandy, for the first time in Barbados — a year before she jetted off to American shores to chase her dream of becoming a singer. When the blended family gathered, it was also the first time Rihanna met her nieces, Kandy's two daughters.
Kandy was born in Barbados and was raised by her grandparents after her mother relocated to England when Kandy was young. While visiting her mother's home in East London, Kandy's mother revealed her biological father's name to her daughter, who set out to search for him upon her return to the Caribbean.
One day, when Ronald answered a knock at the door, he was met by his long-lost daughter, a pharmacy assistant in the island's capital Bridgetown. He said:
"I guess you could say I was shocked. But I was a bit on the wild side and something of a ladies' man back in my early days. Once Kandy told me who her mother was and explained what had happened, I said, 'Well, OK, welcome to my family.'"

Ronald, who designed and sold clothes, took Kandy to a local restaurant to meet Rihanna, who Kandy said was a natural-born entertainer. She got along with Kandy's daughters, cracking jokes and fooling around to get a laugh out of them.
Over the years, the two sisters' contact became less and less. They did not have much opportunity to speak as Rihanna traveled worldwide and Kandy worked long hours to provide for her girls.
"But I'm very proud of what she's achieved," Kandy shared. She added that Rihanna's nieces were among her millions of fans. Although they were worlds apart, Kandy kept an eye out for her baby sister, keeping up with her life in the news.

Samantha, Rihanna's second-eldest half-sister, lost contact with her father after he relocated to Canada to become a chef. When he returned seven years later, he was married and had a three-year-old daughter — Rihanna. One of Samantha's friends said:
"She was the sister Samantha had always wanted. She said she looked identical to the way she did at three years old. Samantha said it was a joy to have a younger sister, and she used to love dressing her up and braiding her hair."
Soon, the relationship between the two families grew. Samantha's mother befriended Monica, who used to help Samantha with her makeup during her days as a model. From sleepovers to trips to the beach and amusement parks, they became "one big happy family."
Like Kandy, Samantha enjoys a simple life in Barbados. A regular church-goer, Samantha obtained her Master's degree before working as a policy consultant for the Caribbean regional governments.

Also gifted with a beautiful voice, Samantha is only willing to put on a show at church, weddings, and funerals. "Samantha had a lovely voice, but she always took her studies very seriously...," one of her friends said.
Jamie Fenty
Very little is known about Rihanna's youngest half-sibling, Jamie. Another member of the Fenty family who inherited the creativity gene, Jamie works as a graphic artist, and he and Samantha share a close relationship with Rihanna and her brothers. One of Samantha's friends' said:
"Her family, her career, and being taken seriously were always the things that mattered most to her."
Rorrey Fenty
After Monica and Ronald welcomed Rihanna, they welcomed her younger brother, Rorrey. Unlike his older half-siblings, Rorrey has not shied away from the spotlight and accumulated a large social media following.
With over a hundred thousand followers on Instagram at the time of writing, Rorrey has worked with music festivals, carnivals, and bands.
He takes to social media to share pictures of his sister from time to time, including a snap of him and Rihanna in 2019 while the brother and sister were in London, England.
Rajad Fenty
Rajad, the youngest of the Fenty family, is close to his big sister as well and often shares pictures of her on his Instagram page. In 2017, Rajad posed with his sister and brother as he congratulated the singer on her "incredible" collection with Puma.
In 2011, Rihanna took to Twitter to honor Rajad on his birthday, revealing that she still thought of him as her son. While it's unclear what he does for a living, Rajad and his partner posed for a maternity photoshoot in December 2020 and announced that they were expecting. In the caption of the post, he wrote:
"...I am happy and thankful that we are able to welcome this new life into the world and into our families."
On January 23, 2021, Rajad announced the birth of his child via social media and posted black and white pictures of his newborn. His big sister was one of the 21,000 people to like the post before it was her turn to announce that she was expecting and later welcome her first child, her son.
