Mika became a mother of two when she welcomed her daughter Carlie in 1998. Emilie's younger sister is a social somebody who shares beautiful moments of her life on Instagram. As of this writing, Carlie is followed by more than 2300 people, while she follows more than 750 accounts.
Carlie participated in the 2022 NYC Marathon in New York to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Hospital. She shared some interesting facts about the hospital on her Instagram story. One of these facts is the hospital's influence on the childhood cancer survival rate, improving from a low 20% to a high 80%.

Carlie interviewed her mother last year, posing some of the questions Mika had prepared for her 50 Over 50 honorees. Her answers to Carlie's questions were based on young people needing to relax and take on life knowing they have time. "It's a much longer runway than I ever thought, so slow down," she advised.

Andrew, Her First Stepson, Has a Slight Form of Autism Called Asperger's
In 1991, Andrew Scarborough was born. Andrew is one of the two children Mika gained as stepchildren when she married Joe in 2018. Her stepson has Asperger's Syndrome, a minor form of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her husband revealed this in an interview with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Asperger's syndrome is a prevalent form of Autism, and famous people like actor Anthony Hopkins, who recently celebrated his 85th birthday, also live with Asperger's. In September 2016, Andrew suffered a severe head injury, demanding serious medical attention, Mika revealed.
Her husband later tweeted, updating concerned fans and supporters about her stepson's condition. He mentioned that after a horrific day and night, Andrew's condition had improved, and he thanked everyone for keeping Andrew in their thoughts and prayers.
