Kristen Saban Is Nick Saban's Only Daughter and on His Foundation's Board of Directors

Kristen Saban is the daughter of the University of Alabama's first-team football team coach, Nick Saban. She boasts a 16-year association with her father's company and some good employment opportunities within that time.

Kristen Saban was born in 1990 to parents Nick Saban and Terry Saban. Her parents' marriage is edging closer to the half-a-century mark, with 45 years of holy matrimony in their locker—and two heirs.

Kristen and her husband of seven years are the University of Alabama alumni. She graduated and made a name for herself before scoring a director position in her father's charity organization. She also has an older brother who made her a first-time-aunt in 2013.

Kristen Was a Marketing Director at Mercedes-Benz

Kristen's equipped herself with the necessary knowledge to conquer the professional path she aspired to tread. In 2009, she enrolled in The University of Alabama, where she spent four years acquiring a Bachelor's degree in Human Environmental Sciences, graduating in 2013.

Within her graduation year, Kristen embarked on the first step in her professional career as an intern at Creative Artists Agency in Nashville, Tennessee, where she spent a couple of months updating and distributing artist itineraries every week amid other tasks.

In September, she began working as a Sales Assistant at Tennessee Titans, providing customer service, handling payment accounts, assisting game day events, and developing her design skills in Photoshop. This chapter lasted six months and concluded in February 2014.

2014 was her first encounter with somewhat long-term employment; she worked as the social media manager for a year and three months in Bruno Event Team's (BET) creative works department. Based in Alabama, BET's creative works department provides marketing and communication services using unique techniques.

The Alabama in-house company was founded in 1995 by Ronald Bruno and provides "visionary strategies based on research." They specialize in producing print; outdoor; television; radio; direct mail; social media; email; and online advertising materials.

Coach Saban's only daughter departed from BET in August 2015 for a promising opportunity at Mercedes-Benz Birmingham. She spent five months at the motor vehicle giant as a marketing director. Part of her duties at Mercedes described on her résumé reads:

"Ensures compliance with manufacturer requirements across all communication platforms to include brand compliance, proper use and accounting of designated marketing funds."

After parting with the German vehicle giants in March 2016, Kristen did not have any formal employment until she joined the board of directors at Nick's Kids Foundation. The company, owned by her father, does widespread charity work to uplift and aid needy children.

Her lengthy history with the company dates back to 2007, when she began as a volunteer. Her vast marketing experience and 16-year affiliation helped her earn the position on the board in 2020. She also has an amazon store where she sells various items ranging from clothes to home decor.

Kristen is a socialite who shares her exciting experiences on Instagram. She frequently posts pictures of herself and her family at the Alabama Crimson Tide football games on her social platform of over 30,000 followers. The coach's only daughter also has an extensive collection of photos with her husband.

Kristen Saban Reportedly Faced a Lawsuit

In 2012, Kristen and a group of sorority sisters allegedly participated in "power hour," a party game that involved alcohol consumption. Afterward, the group headed to a local bar and linked up with her then-boyfriend.

The meeting was said to have gone sour when Kristen felt her boyfriend was not paying enough attention to her, causing the sisters to return to their homes. Kristen then got on a phone call with her boyfriend, which heightened her fury. She allegedly passed remarks about how the girls did not understand how he made her feel.

Her friend Sarah Grimes was said to have made a remark undermining her feelings, which led to an argument and, ultimately, violence between the two. Sarah reportedly filed a civil suit against Kristen for the medically approved injuries the latter inflicted upon her.

Kristen and Adam Had a Big Wedding with 1000 Guests

Kristen tied the knot with her childhood friend and college mate, Adam Setas, 31, in 2015. The couple had a grand wedding with 1000 people in attendance — a standout event encapsulating their association with the University of Alabama. The couple was assisted by E&A Design in planning their one-of-a-kind wedding.

The celebration, hosted at the school, was draped with white fabrics that helped the gold, blue, and light blue splashes stand out. Flower arrangements of orchids, roses, and stargazer lilies were a big part of the theme, beautifying each table. Kristen's mother arranged a surprise performance by the university's cheerleaders.

A firework display on the Crimson Tide football pitch completed the night — a beautiful display of lights forming a path the newlyweds rode through in a white vintage Rolls-Royce. The arrangement of their densely attended wedding fitted the famous daughter of the first-team football coach.

The Setas Welcomed Their Only Baby 5 Years after Their Wedding

Coach Saban became a grandfather of two on Monday, April 27, 2020, when his daughter gave birth to a beautiful male child, James Nickolas Setas. Kristen and Adam's son weighed 9 lbs and 12 oz upon delivery.

Their first child was born five years after exchanging vows, and Kristen and Adam were all similes in an Instagram photo shared by the former on Instagram announcing the birth. The tail end of the photo's caption read: "We are in such awe of God's timing and blessings."

Kristen's brother and his partner Kelsey Laney Saban beat her to the chase, welcoming their daughter Amèlie Elizabeth Saban in 2013. In 2016, the pragmatic Crimson Tide coach lightheartedly joked about how everyone besides his granddaughter feared him. Similar to Kristen, Trae Turner also met his spouse in college.
