After her studies, she pursued a career as a producer, known for "Pretty Bird," "Cold Souls," "All is Bright," and "A Woman Like Me," which she also directed. "A Woman Like Me" was particularly special and deeply personal to Elizabeth.
While doing the project, her partner and filmmaker, Alex Sichel, passed away, and Elizabeth had to complete the movie as co-director. "Having cancer, especially the way Alex had it, is a full-time job because, as she portrayed in the movie, she left no stone unturned," Elizabeth said.

Quietly ending relationships are common amongst celebrities as they hope to retain privacy in their personal lives. Paul isn't the only celebrity who had an alleged secret divorce.
In 2010, Neve Campbell secretly divorced her second husband, actor John Light, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple met while filming "Investigating Sex" in 2001. They got engaged in 2006 and tied the knot the following year.
