Duncan Lacroix has been in the entertainment industry since the 2000s, but his most famous role came in 2014, when he played Jamie Fraser's godfather, Murtagh Fraser, in "Outlander."

Lacroix has appeared in several other on-screen productions, including "Outlaw King," "Vikings," and "The Sisters Brothers." However, despite his popularity, he remained quiet about his personal life.

Duncan Lacroix Had Wonderful On-screen Chemistry with Maria Kennedy

Television viewers only saw a spark in his life on "Outlander," where he was paired with actress Maria Kennedy, who brought the character Jocasta Cameron to life. On the show, she plays Lacroix's love interest.

Only the actor knows the truth, but as he is notoriously private about his life, no one can confirm his relationship status.

There is no denying that the duo's chemistry had fans rooting for them in real life. However, the co-stars are nothing more than friends. Kennedy had been married to Keiran Kennedy for over 30 years. The Kennedys are parents to four children.

Duncan Lacroix Doesn't Share Much about His Love Life

Some reports claimed Lacroix is single without a wife or girlfriend. Only the actor knows the truth, but as he is notoriously private about his life, no one can confirm his relationship status.

Lacroix made life-long friendships with his co-stars and remained in contact with them despite not working together. Whenever possible, he sees them and bonds over food and activities.

Lacroix's love life remains a big mystery among fans. He never shares about his love interests or posts photos with any partners on Instagram.

Although presumably single, Lacroix is happy with the career he has worked hard to have. During a previous interview, he said his time on "Outlander" was a "ride of a lifetime" and the show is "life-changing," adding:

"Getting to know everyone [really stood out to me]. We've kind of all become a life-long family."

Lacroix made life-long friendships with his co-stars and remained in contact with them despite not working together. Whenever possible, he sees them and bonds over food and activities.

"It is one of those uncanny experiences where we stayed friends: myself, Graham McTavish (Dougal MacKenzie), Stephen Walters (Angus Mhor), and some other actors from Season One. We all stay in touch," he said.

Like Lacroix, his other co-stars on "Outlander" made headlines for their love lives, including Richard Rankin, whose romantic relationships remain a mystery.

Similarly, Rankin has kept his personal life out of the spotlight since his career began. Although he's had love interests on shows, he does not discuss his real-life relationship status.

On the other hand, "Outlander” star Graham McTavish does not shy away from sharing his personal life with the public. McTavish is happily married to filmmaker Gwen Isaac.

The actor once left his hometown in Scotland to be with his wife in New Zealand. The pair are living in marital bliss while raising their daughter.
