After leaving competitive action, Phillips went into the boardroom side of sports, which resulted in her being employed by the International Management Group, a global sport, events, and talent management company. The company has managed top talents, including Derek Jeter's wife, Hannah Davis.

As if it was written in the stars, Rose's love for golf and Phillips's loathe for the sport somehow led to the beginning of a long-lasting love story. Rose and Phillips met while attending a European Tour event in Spain. Then, an upcoming golf star was selected to be part of a photoshoot that Phillips was arranging.
From then, their golf connection was locked, so much so that even their first date was inadvertently brought about by the Australian, Adam Scott. The golfer invited the future Mr. and Mrs. Rose to accompany him and his sister to a Madonna Concert in 2001.
The lovebirds' relationship grew in leaps and bounds from that stage, and Phillips quickly became Rose's confidante. He said, "I think she's a good confidante for me on so many subjects. She is a very driven person. She sacrificed as much of her childhood growing up as I did."
Their closeness was not just in words alone. While dating, Rose told reporters a story about Phillips's grandmother. The couple had recently visited Rose's grandmother in Bristol to check up on her. His hilarious take on the encounter and his admission to liking her granny reflected his admiration for his girlfriend.
The lovely couple dated for about half a decade before Phillips made the fateful walk down the aisle. They married in 2006 and have since welcomed two children, a boy and a girl. Their first, Leo, was born in February 2009, while Charlotte followed around January 2012.
Phillips thinks her husband is a great father, probably because he was close to his father and wishes to emulate his way of parenting. After they married, Phillips resigned from her work as a personal assistant and became her husband's full-time traveling partner when he is doing his business on the golf circuit.
