Does Famke Janssen Have a Husband? The Actress Is Private about Her Love Life
Famke Janssen's husband was a famous director; however, after the two went their separate ways, Famke Janssen returned to dating, and she was linked to two high-profile men in the film industry, including Ryan Gosling.
Born on November 5, 1964, in the Netherlands, Janssen proved she is a woman of many trades after successful careers as a model, actress, and director. Her film career took off when she became James Bond's enemy in "GoldenEye" in 1995 and landed a role in the "X Men" franchise.
She also found love in the world of film twice, as she said "I do" with a famous director in 1995, and later found love again with a famous producer. Usually not one to share about her personal life, Janssen revealed she was "best friends" with her ex and tried to steer clear of the limelight.

Famke Janssen Used to Be Married to Director Tod Williams
While her acting career was taking off in the 1990s, Janssen dated and married "The Adventures of Sebastian Cole" director and writer Tod 'Skip' Williams. Originally from New York, Williams has received numerous awards during his career and often worked with his former wife.
After eleven years of marriage, Williams and Janssen went their separate ways, and he later remarried and welcomed two children. However, the exes remained close. "We're best friends," Janssen said.
Her success in Hollywood saw a meteoric rise after "GoldenEye." However, Janssen revealed sharing the silver screen with Pierce Brosnan also came with cons. She shared:
"After 'GoldenEye,' I felt like I was thrown to the wolves. It was just an onslaught of attention, good and bad, and everything in between."

Famke Janssen Was Linked to Ryan Gosling Back in 2004
Following her divorce in 2000, Janssen was back on the dating market years later when she was romantically linked to Ryan Gosling—who was also linked to Sandra Bullock.
According to reports, the two actors—with a 15-year age gap—dated in the winter of 2004, but their romance was brief as Janssen and Gosling went their separate ways after a month.
By 2014, Janssen was dating producer Cole Frates, whose work includes "Bringing Up Bobby" in 2011, "Untitled Brant Sersen Thriller," and "Puppy Love" in 2008. Her relationships with Frates and Gosling were not part of her MO, as Janssen said:
"I don't date famous people. I'm not on social media...But fame comes at a price, and it wasn't one that I was willing to pay."

Towards the end of 2014, the couple was spotted enjoying a bike ride in Los Angeles with Janssen's Boston Terrier. She wore a knee-length red dress with a cinched bow at the waist that accentuated her figure with a form-fitting black blazer, black tights, and a pair of black oxfords.
Janssen opted for a natural look as she wore little to no makeup with her rich black locks in loose waves. Frates went for a more casual vibe for the bike ride date, as he wore a blue jacket and grey pants.
In 2017, the couple proved they were still going strong when they stepped out for another bike ride in New York City. Janssen was dressed smartly again in a navy blue coat, a colorful dress, and black tights while her hair rested on her shoulder.

Famke Janssen Once Opened up About Why She Keeps Her Private Life Away from Media Attention
Following Janssen's experience with the press' prying presence, she admitted that she preferred to keep a low profile and when there was no information about her personal life available to the public. She said:
"I basically shun the press. I'm sure you googled me to try and find some things, but I am super private and realized a long time ago that I don't really like people knowing anything about me."
However, her choice to lead a life out of the public eye came with cons, as Janssen revealed she made less money than other actors. "I decided I'd rather be less famous and do things on my terms," she said.
