Davis is married to Paul Roberts. The couple, who wedded in 2013, has participated in various marathon events in many cities. Besides running, they also formed a capable news team during the work-from-home period of the Covid-19 pandemic, with Roberts acting as his wife's technician.

Davis and Roberts have one child, Ayden, who is turning nine this year. The family of three looks pretty close, and Davis was inspired to write a children's book through her interactions with her child.

Her Husband Was Once Her 'Remote Tech Team'

While Covid-19 ravaged the planet and everyone was trying to adapt to the "new normal" of working from home, family cooperation was essential for its smooth running. For Davis, she felt grateful to have Roberts.

Her husband acted as her remote technician as she continued to give the nation their daily news from home. The newscaster was grateful for her husband's support, saying:

They Share One Hobby

Davis and Roberts have shared much of their lives since they started a relationship and in their matrimony. They enjoy running, and like Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump, they seem to do a lot of it.

In 2022, the lovely couple went on a running spree. Over the years, they have been involved in several marathon events in different cities across America, from Madison, Wisconsin, to Jackson, Mississippi. They also saw the opportunity as some form of marriage therapy, and the two seemed to be in great spirits while participating.

Davis and Roberts have been running for charity for many years and have documented their participation on social media. The images from the events they have been involved in are a regular feature on Davis's social media.

Linsey's Husband Is a Great Dad Too

. Their son, Ayden, was born in 2014. The kid has massive similarities to his mother, and one can be forgiven for thinking he was her in her younger days. However, Ayden seems to spend a lot of time with his father, as seen in several of Davis's Instagram posts.

There is a father's day photo where three generations of the Davis-Roberts family, Davis's father, her husband, and her son, are seen posing and taking in the special moment. Additionally, in one of her quarantine videos, the father-son duo is shown going through a mini-boxing match.

The family of three appears to be a close-knit bunch, which also extends to the whole extended family, as shown in their Christmas video or pictures. The family sings different parts of the same song in a combined nearly four-minute video.

Linsey Wrote A Book For Their Son

Davis' wish to share some family history with her son led her to write a book for her son, who had asked about his grandmother, who passed away when he was a year old. Ayden had been troubled by the fact that his classmate had two sets of grandparents while he only had one, his maternal ones.

When Davis explained to her young son that her grandmother was in heaven, he was convinced that he wanted to visit her there. Hence, during the flight, Ayden was confused about why he couldn't see his grandmother, which seemed to bother him deeply.

After that experience, Davis was inspired to

to help other parents discuss the loss of loved ones with their children. She felt it was imperative to tackle that topic, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, where many children lost their guardians.

According to Davis, the idea that kids will be reunited with their deceased loved ones one day gives them comfort. The book, "How High is Heaven?" was her fourth picture book and probably Ayden's favorite as the mother-son duo has enjoyed figuring out ways by which they can get to heaven.
