Elizabeth Marighetto became Tim Matheson's wife in 2018, becoming his third wife and stepmother to his children from his second marriage. Although she is not very popular, she is credited as a script supervisor in three Hollywood movies and television series productions.

Although not much is known about Marighetto or the backstory to their marriage, she and Matheson made a red carpet appearance in 2015. Since then, the couple has made several more public appearances together.

However, Marighetto maintains a private life away from the media, even social media. On the other hand, her husband does not hide her and occasionally shares her pictures on his social media accounts.

Tim Matheson's Wife, Elizabeth Marighetto, Is Also in the Film Industry

Although Marighetto's name became more popular after she married Matheson, it was not her first time experiencing Hollywood life. She has contributed to making several films and TV series in the past. However, her participation was mainly limited to behind-the-scenes roles.

In 2013, Marighetto was listed as a script supervisor for the movie "Cheap Thrills." Three years later, she had the job of script supervisor: additional photography on "Blood Father," a film starring Mel Gibson and Erin Moriarty.

Lastly, and in her only contribution to television, she was the scriptwriter for 22 episodes of "Future Man" between 2017 to 2019. The action comedy aired on Hulu for four years, featuring Josh Hutcherson and Eliza Coupe as the main actors.

Despite her celebrity status, Marighetto is not very active on social media and seems to prefer living behind the scenes as she does on set. She has a Twitter account where she dubs herself a "continuity connoisseur," but she has never shared anything on the platform since opening the account in 2012.

Elizabeth Marighetto Gave Her Husband His 3rd Chance at Marriage

Before Marighetto and Matheson tied the knot, Matheson had been married and divorced twice. The 75-year-old actor was first married to actress Jennifer Leak between 1968 to 1971. He later had three children with Megan Murphy, whom he was with from 1985 until they legally separated in 2010.

In March 2018, Matheson married Marighetto in a joyous event held in Los Angeles, California. The wedding, which Marighetto's husband announced on his Facebook page, received positive responses from many fans who wished the couple well. However, the ceremony was held in an unorthodox location.

The area does not seem like a typical wedding venue but a random place outside a building. Even the guests, around 20 to 30, were not seated as there was nowhere to sit. They just stood around the couple, who looked excited about the occasion. Matheson wore a simple suit and tie, while Marighetto wore a white dress.

The following month, the couple was spotted honeymooning in Japan. Matheson shared two photos from their trip. The first was a photo of the two standing in an ancient-looking street in Japan. The second one shows Marighetto taking part in a Geisha photoshoot in Kyoto.

Despite Leading a Private Life, Elizabeth Marighetto Supports Her Husband as Much as She Can

Marighetto has been on Matheson's side for quite some time now. The couple made a public appearance in 2015 at the 30th Santa Barbara Film Festival.

That same year, Marighetto attended the opening of Brandon Jacobs-Jenkins's comedy "APPROPRIATE" at the Mark Taper Forum in Downtown Los Angeles.

The following year, Matheson shared, on Instagram, a picture of himself with his then-girlfriend, Marighetto, as they attended the Critics' Choice Awards.

Because their romantic life is largely shrouded in secrecy, it is unknown if they share any children. However, Marighetto has stepmother duties to her husband's three children from his second marriage.
