Paris shared a clip from her podcast on her Instagram. In the clip, she introduced her new baby son and explained his unique name. The clip is also an excerpt from her memoir, meant to expound on the public figure we all know and offer readers more insight into her personal life. She read:
"Phoenix has a few good pop culture reference points, but more importantly it's the bird that flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again. I want my son to grow up knowing that disaster and triumph go around and come around throughout our lives. And that this should give us great hope for the future."
Her Instagram had an audio clip from her podcast paired with text that transcribed her words. She captioned the post simply with her new son's name and urged followers to learn more by listening to her podcast. In an interview, she also spoke about how happy she is to raise her son with Carter.
When the time came to go to the hospital, Paris donned a brunette wig to hide her characteristic platinum-blonde hair.

The socialite kept her baby hidden from the world as long as possible, and the photo of young Phoenix came long after his birth. Finally, after weeks of spending some wuality time with her baby, Paris broke the news.
How Paris Managed to Keep the Baby Secret Even from Her Relatives
Paris wanted to have the baby without the press or anyone else finding out. However, that was easier said than done. Once the surrogate entered labor, Paris had a full-proof game plan to keep their child secret for as long as possible.
On her way to the hospital, Paris donned a brunette wig to hide her characteristic platinum-blonde hair. After Phoenix was born and cleared to leave the hospital, Paris and Carter brought him to their home, completely incognito. The socialite explained her decision to keep the birth private:
"My entire life has been so public. I've never had anything for myself. We decided that we wanted to have this whole experience to ourselves."

Before Paris and Carter brought Phoenix home, they even dismissed their staff, saying they would be painting the house for the next few days. For the first while, it was only Carter, Paris, and Phoenix. The Heiress gushed about spending the first few days holding her son close to her chest and singing him lullabies.
Paris mentioned it was her dream to raise a baby, and holding Phoenix made her feel whole.
She only published the news once it seemed like it was about to break, with or without her input. So, she made an Instagram post announcing the birth of her very first child. The Heiress mentioned, "Not even my mom, my sisters, my best friend knew until he was over a week old."

Paris wanted to spend the first few days with her child alone. She knew news agencies would scramble to find out every detail about the boy, and her "mother instinct" told her to keep him out of the public eye as long as possible.
Her Husband Made Her Dream of Becoming a Mom Happen
Instead of going the traditional route, Paris and Carter decided to try in vitro fertilization (IVF). They started the process during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, which allowed Paris to take time off from her busy schedule. She said:
"Usually I'm on a plane 250 days out of the year, and let's just get all of the eggs stocked and ready,' and we have tons of them just waiting."
