Josephine Archer Cameron Is Linda Hamilton's Daughter with James Cameron
"The Terminator" actress Linda Hamilton and the creator of the film, James Cameron, fell in love during the franchise's second movie. Their romance resulted in the birth of Josephine Archer Cameron.
She is the only child the famous Hollywood power couple had in their time together, which included two years of marriage. However, despite the popularity of her parents, Josephine has primarily had a life out of the public eye, and little is known about her.
Her mother has spoken about her in interviews, revealing that Josephine is one of the most important things to have happened in her life. Her words as a young girl telling her grandmother that her mother is beautiful because of the joy on her face have stayed with Hamilton since.

Josephine's Personality Remains a Mystery
Josephine was born sometime in 1993, two years after her parents had moved in together and approximately four years before they married.
Although she is the daughter of a highly famous actress and a world-renowned filmmaker, there is little information about her publicly available. Josephine keeps her life well outside the spotlight and has not followed her parents' footsteps into Hollywood. It is not known what she does in her professional life.
Her life is so private that even her social media activities are a mystery. However, eagle-eyed fans noticed a hint that she has a social media account after her father shared some tweets she (in James Cameron's words) sent to him.

Josephine's Parents Weren't Married for Long Because They Were Unrealistic
Josephine's parents, Hamilton and James Cameron's attraction began during the shooting of the second "Terminator" movie. The enthusiastic couple moved in together shortly after filming concluded, and they officially became one of Hollywood's hottest couples.
It didn't take long for them to have a child together, as in 1993, they welcomed their daughter, Josephine. It took another four years after that for Hamilton and James to exchange their vows. However, their relationship was reportedly already facing many challenges; unsurprisingly, it did not last long.
Only two years into the marriage, they decided to call it quits and go their separate ways. The couple, who had combined significantly in the first two "Terminators" alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, had failed to blend well in their relationship. Speaking to the New York Times in 2019, she conceded:
"That relationship was a mystery to all of us — even Jim and myself — because we are terribly mismatched. I used to say we fit together like a puzzle: Everywhere he's convex, I'm concave. I think what happened there is that he really fell in love with Sarah Connor."
However, despite all the trouble her parents were facing, Josephine was one of the more positive things her mother had ever experienced. Hamilton said if she had to choose a time when she felt most comfortable in her skin, it would be just after she gave birth to Josephine. At that moment, she felt like she owned her body.

Josephine Has Numerous Siblings through Her Parents
Josephine, technically, is an only child as she is her parents' only child. However, she shares at least one parent with four other kids, her four siblings, or, more accurately, half-siblings.
From her mother's side, Linda Hamilton only had one other child, Josephine's older brother, Dalton Abbott, who is four years her senior. Dalton is Hamilton's child from her first marriage to actor Bruce Abbott who she married in 1982 and divorced in 1989.

Not much is known about Dalton except that he appeared in "Terminator: Judgement Day" as an infant John Conner. He was about two years old at the time. Has also been seen with his mother on the red carpet.
On her father's side, Josephine has three siblings, all younger than her. The three, one boy and two girls, are named James Quinn Cameron, Elizabeth Rose Cameron, and Clair Cameron. They were born after James Cameron married his fifth and last wife, Suzy Amis, in 2000. Amis portrayed Lizzy Calvert in "Titanic."
