The actress' sons are all grown up now and look different from one another.

She was honored as the Best Television Role Model and bagged the America Women in Radio and Television (AWRT) in 1994.

Hall has spoken highly of her beloved mentor's influence on her acting career and even attended a memorial in her honor.

Hall, who also appeared in "The Young & The Restless" in 1973, is a happy mom of two. But her journey to motherhood was not easy.

How Did Hall Become a Mom?

Hall has been married four times, and she tried to conceive within two of her marriages. Little did she know that it would take a whole lot to achieve that.

She underwent several rounds of artificial insemination, invitro-fertilization, and surgery, leaving her with physical and emotional side effects.

When she wed for the fourth time, she gave up on her ability to have a child. She and her third husband, Steve Sohmer, a writer, decided to try another way of having a baby.

The couple opted for a surrogate named Robin, who gave birth to their first child, a son they named David Sohmer, on August 23, 1992. Robin also helped Hall and Sohmer welcome their second child, Tully Sohmer, on January 19, 1992.

Seeing the television star could not produce viable eggs, Robin donated the egg and used Sohmer's sperm to conceive.

In 1995, Hall retold her infertility story in the made-for-TV movie "Never Say Never: The Deidre Hall Story" by playing herself. She said the "most frightening part" about the role was depicting David's birth.

While Robin was giving birth to David, Hall's dear friend was dying in the same hospital. Hall admitted, "those were very difficult, emotional moments" in the movie while admitting she expected the "worst."

The mother of two also anticipated issues in portraying the gruesome experiences she endured on her journey to motherhood. She revealed one scene that made it all overwhelming: she had to do an "in-vitro surgery," and said it was "a terrible, terrible moment."

When asked why she wanted to do a film about her infertility experience, Hall disclosed she "spent two years doing invitro" to fall pregnant until her doctor gave her a reality check, telling her:

"You are out of the baby business."

Asked how becoming a parent changed her, Hall explained that nothing mattered in that instant once she saw her child for the first time.

"In the moment that baby is placed in your arms, it doesn’t matter how they got there," she said. Hall added after the doctor gave her her first-born, she noted how protective she would be over him: "I remember saying, 'If anybody ever tries to hurt you, I will kill them.'"

How Do Hall's Kids Look Now & What Kind of Life Does She Have?

Hall's sons are now all grown up and have different physical features. The siblings accompanied their famous mom to her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in May 2016, where the trio donned black coordinating outfits for the occasion.

When asked what it was like having her sons at the auspicious event, Hall shared that when David and Tully were little, she "kept them away from pictures." However, now that they are older and are independent adults, they have not "seen me in this element, and on a red carpet being photographed."

Hall penned that her child's arrival significantly changed their lives, adding that she and David's dad were always aware that he was special. But they were more "delighted" by his love for traveling and globetrotting.

The doting parent revealed David received his education overseas and enjoyed "working in production" and spending time with former schoolmates and getting home to watch a movie with them.

Hall shared in March 2019 that David was studying in Paris and would be graduating in May of that year, adding that his little brother Tully had taken "a break" and would be returning to "college."

Concerning her love life, Hall was asked whether she had any regrets about her previous marriages, and she said a pal of hers told her she was terrible at picking her men. But she begs to differ.

The "Zero Hour" star said her life experiences got her to where she is today, adding all that happened in the past contributed to her success. That said, she has "taken lessons" from her former spouses and "still" maintains good relationships with them. When asked whether she would marry again, Hall stated: "No, no interest."

Hall walked down the aisle for the third time with Michael Dubelko in 1987 before parting ways in 1989. She and her fourth husband, Steve, tied the knot in 1991 and divorced in 2006.

In 2019, the blonde beauty said she was over the moon with her life. "It's the best time ever," she revealed. Hall explained everything had fallen into place, and her life was wholesome.

"My kids and my family are in good shape. I'm healthy. I do a job that I love. I have people, and a home that I adore, a garden that I like growing. It doesn't get any better, and I’m beyond grateful," she affirmed.
