Bryan Callen's Divorce with Ex-wife and His New Relationship
Celebrated comedian Bryan Callen separated from his wife of 12 years in 2020. After the lengthy divorce proceedings ended in 2021, Callen seems to have found a new love.
Callen married Amanda Humphrey in October 2008. After a lengthy private relationship, the couple went through a legal separation that took about a year to be finalized. The terms of the divorce involved high volumes of money and expensive properties.
Fast forward to 2022, there are signs that Callen is already a married man again. The comedian and his new love's Instagram pages suggest that the couple has already exchanged their vows.
The Comedian Finalized His Divorce with His Amanda Humphrey after 12 Years of Marriage
There is little information available about Callen and Humphrey's marriage. Their relationship was thrust into the spotlight after news of their split reached the media. It is not clear what led to the divorce. Although they separated in 2020, their divorce was finalized in 2021 with some mouth-watering financial figures.
The terms of the legal separation had Callen paying a lot of money in spousal and child support and assets split in half. The spousal support stood at a mammoth $11,496 per month, while child support for the two children was a modest $8,504.
Again, on the kids, the parents were set to have joint legal custody and agreed on the visitation times. The two dogs were attached to wherever the kids would be. For example, if the kids are with their father, that is where the pets would be and vice versa. However, Humphrey got to keep their horse.
Humphrey also got a house in Santa Monica worth approximately $3.4 million. Callen did not leave the discussion empty-handed as he walked away with their property in Venice worth almost $2 million. He also got to keep the rights to his podcast "The Fighter and the Kid."
Regarding vehicles, the couple was not too invested in that. The couple owned one car and two more leased ones. Humphrey got one of the leased cars, a 2019 Lexus GX. Callen was given the 2014 Toyota Prius and a leased Tesla. The couple shared the bank accounts evenly.
Bryan Once Used a Story about His Ex-wife in a Comedy Bit
Callen is one of the most popular comedians in the United States and not just for his stand-up delivery but also for the films he's been in. He appeared in his first film, "Mail Bonding," in 1995. He has followed that up with appearances alongside several high-profile actors, such as Bradley Cooper and Ken Jeong in "Hangover."
Still, arguably his best performances have been on the stage. The comedian draws inspiration from many things, and his wife was one of them. While Callen and Humphrey were still married, he joked about his wife, saying he married a Viking because she was very white and strong. He said:
"And I think about this because I married a Viking. Yeah. One of the whites. A white from the North. The kind of white that blends with snow. Their white ancestors drank from skulls and worshiped Thor. She is a powerful woman..."
He Appears to Be Married Again
Although no official confirmation has been given, Callen is already a married man again. The speculation began after he posted a woman in a wedding dress as his Valentine on February 15, 2022.
The lady, Dani, who has already changed her last name to Callen, seems to prefer staying out of the spotlight. Very little is known about her, and her Instagram account is set to private.
On November 11, 2022, Callen shared a picture of himself and his lady. He captioned the post, "Looks like a poster for Beauty and the Beast, but it's real. How'd I get so lucky? I have a ton of mushy things to say but I ain't doing it..."
It is unclear when their relationship began, as no details about their love story are available. Still, they appear to be happy and excited about their relationship.
