Dana White's Kids Have Proven Themselves in Sports - Facts about Them
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White II has shown to be quite the family man. The businessman is a father of three kids, two boys and a girl, who he shares with his wife of almost three decades, Anne White.
Dana II's oldest is named after him and is currently at university, where he plays football. His second is now making his way into boxing after also playing football in high school. The youngest prefers to live her life out of the spotlight but is not immune to hurtful messages from the public.
Dana II's children are following their paths, something their father emphasized. For their 16th birthday, the youngest two received the most lavish parties they could have imagined from their father.
Dana White Wanted His Children to Do What They Love
Dana II has been married to Anne since 1996. The couple met in eighth grade, but it is unclear when they began dating. Their marriage has been blessed with three children, a daughter named Savannah and two sons, Dana White III, and Aidan.
Asked if his children understand his job, Dana II said that his two boys began to realize that he is famous when they noticed that their visits to the mall are filled with people wanting to take pictures. Also, they are fans of UFC; hence they knew the rough draft of what the job entails.
While taking part in an interview with Eurosport in 2009, the president of UFC noted that his kids were practicing martial arts and were being taught Muay Thai at the time. The kids started their training at three, beginning with boxing, which is the easiest to learn. An upgrade to Jiu-jitsu would follow at age 12.
However, despite all their interest in martial arts and their dad putting them through the training, Dana II wanted to avoid forcing a career on them. Instead, he wanted them to choose whichever profession they most appreciated and felt happy doing, and he would support them still. He pointed out:
"I want my kids to do something they absolutely love to do. I swear to God, if my kids, when they’re 18, if they come to me and say, 'Dad, I love pumping gas. I love getting up in the morning, I love grabbing the handle, I love the smell of the gas station,'I’d say, 'Go for it.'"
On New Year's Day of 2023, Dana II and Anne were involved in a skirmish that left them concerned about their children. The two had reportedly engaged in a physical altercation during a drunk night out.
However, the parents, who remained firm about their stance against violence, were worried about the impact of their episode on the kids. Nevertheless, during an interview with TMZ, Dana II said that they had discussed the incident with the children, and it was not something that had ever happened before.
Dana White III Has Achievements in Football
After spending much of his childhood training martial arts, Dana III did not follow his father's line of business. Instead, a 2020 article about the son of the head of UFC noted that he had chosen to fight on the football field and not in the ring.
A graduate of Faith Lutheran High, Dana III was said to be passionate about football. His initial position was quarterback, but he later changed to safety after suffering a broken collarbone. He was primarily a bench player in his junior years and became a starter as a senior.
In 2021, Dana III enrolled at the University of San Diego. Despite some people thinking that he had been added to their varsity team because of the school's desire to have his father become a donor for the school, the coaches expressed excitement about his addition to the team, saying that he is a talented player.
Aidan White Has Proven Himself in the Martial Arts
Aidan, like his older brother Dana III, played football when he was younger. On one occasion, it was reported that his father looked nervous on the sidelines as he watched him play for the Cowboys against bigger kids in the Nevada Youth League. His position was defensive back, but he seemed to rotate at times.
When Aidan turned 16 in 2018, his father threw him a big party. The party, hosted at Drai's Beachclub and Nightclub in Las Vegas, was graced by some big names, including A$AP Rocky, Migos, and DJ Carnage.
However, that may not have even been the highlight of his day as his father gifted him a customized Land Rover Defender. The excited teenager labeled it the best night of his young life in an Instagram post with a short video of him hurling his body off the stage into the hands of happy partygoers.
Aidan is currently listed as a fighter specializing in Boxing. He had his first amateur match recently, and his father looked excited watching him train and later fight in the ring, doubling up as a fan and coach. The fight drew a large crowd, and they were not disappointed as he put on a valiant effort.
Savannah White Got a Huge Party for Her 16th Birthday
Following the path taken by her older brother, the youngest of Dana III's brood also celebrated her 16th in style in 2022. This time, the party was at Aria.
Savannah's father pulled out all the stops to ensure that his daughter also had the night of her life. He rented out the entire Jewel Nightclub for the evening, and expenses could have been close to the estimated $1 million spent on Aidan's birthday two years earlier.
Savannah's party featured celebrities, including Louis the Child, DaBaby, DJ MAKJ, and Lil Uzi Vert. The guests at the party were reportedly not informed of the venue beforehand but were chauffeured from another location.
Unlike some of her family members, Savannah leads a generally private life. However, her desire for privacy has not kept her safe from abuse aimed at her or her family. In late 2022, it was reported that Savannah was a victim of threats from an account later discovered to belong to a fighter within the UFC organization.
