Aaron Taylor-Johnson Goes Fully Shirtless in New Calvin Klein Campaign, Shows Tribute to His Spouse

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the latest Calvin Klein collaborator. The actor, whose marriage has been very topical since he was born more than two decades after his wife, joins a list of highly talented entertainers to have modeled for the American brand.

Actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson shared a collaborative post on Instagram yesterday with Calvin Klein. In the post, we see the "Kick-Ass" star posing shirtless with his head down, showing off his sharply toned figure before a grey background in a clean-cut Calvin Klein photoshoot.

The caption on the post is a clear statement that says Calvins or nothing. The caption continues with the words "strong presence"—a sensible observation of Aaron's body in the shot—and then reveals that the photo shoot is part of the clothing company's spring campaign.

The photo shows a Colibri inked onto the left quadrant of the actor's chest. Right beside that, he has a tattoo of his wife's name, Sam Taylor-Johnson, who he will celebrate an 11th anniversary with this June. Aaron is part of a selection of stars chosen to promote Calvin Klein's spring collection.

Aaron's Instagram post came two weeks after the brand published its partnership with "Creed III" protagonist Michael B. Jordan. He, too, showed off his pecks in a powerful photoshoot. Some other personalities Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott photographed for the spring campaign are Kendall Jenner and FKA Twigs.

Aaron exchanged vows with his wife, Sam, on June 21, 2012. The actor, whose full name used to be Aaron Johnson, took on his wife's maiden name. Sam, whose full name was Sam Taylor, did the same, adopting their new combined last name.

Aaron's wife is also in the film industry. She is a filmmaker with some notable projects in her list of accolades and still seems to be establishing her name. She is the director of the Canadian musician, The Weeknd's video for "Earned It," a song from the soundtrack of "Fifty Shades of Grey," which she also directed.

The Taylor-Johnson lovebirds have two children; their combined last name is not the only unconventional part of their communion. USA Today compared Aaron's marriage to that of George Clooney and Amal Clooney, a fair comparison as both unions involve an age gap that is hard to ignore.

The only difference is that Aaron is 23 years younger than his spouse, sparking a conversation on social media about the alleged power imbalance in such marriages. When they met, Sam was 42, and within the same year, they got engaged and became parents to Wylda Rae the next year.

Aaron once revealed that precisely one year after they met, he went down on one knee and got engaged to the filmmaker. Their relationship is private, and Aaron explained that they keep it that way, as their age difference invites intrusive attention.
