Ingrid Andress Once Addressed the Crazy Rumor about Being Married to Abby Wambach
Female soccer player Abby Wambach was once rumored to be Ingrid Andress's wife. While appearing on the CMA Awards Radio Row, the singer revealed she came across articles claiming she was Abby Wambach's wife and that it was the fakest thing she had ever seen.
Even though Andress wrote most of the songs before breaking up with her then-partner, her turning point came while writing "Seeing Someone Else."
The singer dismissed the rumor and declared that she was not married. It turns out Wambach is married to author Glennon Doyle, Craig Melton's ex-wife. The pair shares an incredible love story and have been together since 2017.
Even though Andress denied the rumor, she once admitted to Rolling Stone that she liked Wambach's wife's work as an author and enjoyed reading her books. According to Andress, the best book she ever read during quarantine was "Untamed" by Doyle.

During the lockdown, Andress realized that she and her then-partner were growing apart after being together for six years. The relationship wasn't working, and she had seen many red flags. She decided to put her failed romance struggle into a song.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Andress revealed her failed relationship inspired her second album, "Good Person," and, looking back, she is grateful for her decision. She said:
"I really needed to step back and figure out if I was happy or not. If I didn't have that time, I would probably have a different second album."
Even though Andress wrote most of the songs before breaking up with her then-partner, her turning point came while writing "Seeing Someone Else." After she wrote the song, she listened to it the following day, and it resonated with her. In her song "Pain," she detailed the breakup aftermath.
