Meghan Trainor's 'Zipper Almost Popped Open' as She's Already 6 Months Pregnant
Since announcing her second pregnancy, Meghan Trainor has not held back on pregnancy looks, including a beautiful green dress she almost tore due to her growing belly. While the singer prepares to become a mother of two, she revealed her second pregnancy has not been smooth sailing.
In a recent Instagram post, Trainor wowed in a green number with flared sleeves and a collar that showed off her baby bump. In the caption, the "Made You Look" singer humorously revealed that she had almost popped her zipper when trying to sit, but the outfit was "too cute not to wear."
Karissa Lee Dunn styled Trainor's outfit from Leo Lin, and her half-up-half-down hairstyle with heart-shaped pigtails was the creation of stylist Castillo, who had worked with the pregnant singer before. Trainor completed the look with matching green eyeshadow and rosy cheeks done by makeup artist Oralie Wright.
In 2023, Trainor followed Kelly Rowland and Nicole Scherzinger's leads to appear on an international reality TV show when she landed the role of a judge on "Australian Idol." The Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter shot to fame for her catchy songs that promote body positivity, such as "All About That Base."
And she recently achieved more success following the popular TikTok trend created with her song "Made You Look." While filming "Australian Idol," Trainor has taken to Instagram to share more of her maternity looks, including a black two-piece from Rebecca Vallance.
Trainor wore a black skirt with a matching loosely tied laced-up shirt paired with black boots and soft makeup. In more pictures, she was photographed cradling her baby bump while chatting with her husband, Daryl Sabara, and her fellow "Australian Idol" judge Kyle Sandilands.
Trainor became a mother for the first time in February 2021 when she welcomed her son Riley. And while the singer is halfway to her dream of having four children, she revealed her second pregnancy has not gone as well as her first.
During her first pregnancy with her son, Meghan Trainor only experienced symptoms once she was further along. However, at only four months into her second pregnancy, the singer experienced red perioral dermatitis all over her face, aching breasts, nausea, and began showing a lot sooner.
However, despite her aches, pains, and insatiable appetite, Trainor revealed, "What a blessing. I'm just so grateful I can even get pregnant. And I'm like, 'I'm crushing it. This is amazing. This is my dreams (sic).'"
