Dolph Ziggler's girlfriends never held back when they spoke about their former romance and sex life with the WWE star, and though none became known as Dolph Ziggler's wife, he never seemed to mind. Apart from building a notable career in the WWE Universe and as an actor, Ziggler has also been an open book about his personal life.

Out of the different women who've been Dolph Ziggler's girlfriends, each had their own story about the wrestling star. While they've been unafraid of airing intimate details about their relationship with Ziggler, some of which even his family members know of, he's also been pretty candid.

Ziggler once promised one of his former beaus that he could provide them with marriage and a family; however, those milestones never came to pass. He has never married, and it seems, at least for now, he prefers it that way. Still, apart from an illustrious personal life, Ziggler's career has been nothing short of remarkable.

Dolph Ziggler Enjoys the Pros of Not Having a Family

Nic Nemeth, professionally known as Dolph Ziggler, drew his first breath in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 27, 1980. Though chiefly renowned for his work on WWE, Ziggler is also an actor and producer. He has several TV credits, including starring and walk-on roles, such as in "The Speed of Time," "Heel," "Daddy's Boys," and "Countdown."

Alongside building his career, Ziggler has publicly indulged in romances; however, he has yet to commit to settling down. During a 2009 interview, he told Slam Wrestling that not having a wife or family was advantageous because he only dedicated himself to the things he enjoyed: traveling, eating out, and performing for the WWE Universe.

Amy Schumer Dumped Dolph Ziggler

In 2013, Ziggler opened up about his relationship with comedienne Amy Schumer on "Wrestlemania 29 Radio Row" with Sam Roberts. The interview occurred following their separation, after which Schumer aired intimate details about their sex life on "The Howard Stern Show."

Even Ziggler's family had listened in, including his aunt, mother, and grandmother. Yet despite having his personal life exposed in such a manner, it never drove a wedge between him and Schumer, as he spoke fondly of her and said they were still "buddies."

During her interview with Howard Stern the year before, Schumer revealed that she ended her romance with Ziggler because "the sex was too athletic." She initially didn't mind his approach but eventually grew tired. The breakup, which happened over text, was quite an emotional blow for Ziggler, but Schumer had made up her mind.

Dolph Ziggler Had a Relationship with a Colleague

Ziggler was romantically involved with John Cena's ex-fiancée Nikki Bella. Though their relationship timeline remains unclear, reports say it began around 2008 and ended sometime between 2010 and 2011. Ziggler and Bella were an item before Bella moved on to Cena in 2012.

In 2015, Ziggler admitted live on WWE that he still had feelings for her and was willing to provide everything Cena wasn't, including making her the first woman to be known as "Dolph Ziggler's wife." He even went in for a kiss, but Bella never accepted it, and she later told Cena about the incident. However, some believe that Ziggler's confession wasn't entirely genuine and was staged for TV.

What Happened between Dolph Ziggler and Sunny?

Tammy Sytch, a.k.a WWE Hall of Famer Sunny, spoke about her brief romance with Ziggler during a March 2018 interview. The two shared a passionate and intimate night sometime in 2010 after four months of flirting on social media. Ziggler had returned from a match with a few injuries and had been advised to remain at the TV hotel.

But, against the doctor's orders, he drove to see Sunny, and they spent the night together. Sunny had to leave that morning, and right before, she took a photo of a dozed-off Ziggler for "proof and a receipt," later sharing it on Facebook. Although the picture went viral, Ziggler never commented or spoke to Sunny about it.
