Paolo Montalbán's TV career took off in 1997 when he was cast as the Prince in the Disney television adaptation of Rodgers & Hammerstein's "Cinderella."
Already a Broadway regular, the actor and singer got cast opposite singing icons Whitney Houston and Brandy Norwood and Academy Award-winner Whoopi Goldberg.
Since then, Montalbán has worked on the 2010 Queen Latifah film "Just Wright," was cast as Kung Lao in the "Mortal Kombat: Conquest" series, and starred in several Broadway productions.
But even though he was among the top 50 People Magazine's 1998 "Most Beautiful People," Montalbán is still footloose and fancy-free, leading some fans to wonder if he is hiding his true love away.
Is Paolo Montalbán Dating Anyone? The Actor Keeps His Love Life a Mystery
Paolo Montalbán's presence at the 25-year reunion special for "Cinderella" reminded fans how good-looking the Filipino-American actor is and reignited speculation about his love life.
A quick look through his Instagram account shows no hint of a special someone, and the only woman Montalbán declares his love to is his mother.
Montalbán is now back as Cinderella's forever love, but he is no longer a Prince. He is King Charming, and Brandy Norwood is once again his Cinderella.
But that doesn't mean there isn't a special someone in his life. Like many celebrities, Montabán might have chosen to keep his personal life out of social media.

Montalbán's charm and good looks have led many to discover they were gay when they saw him on "Cinderella." One fan wrote on Twitter:
"Paolo Montalbán was one of the guys who made me realize that I was gay as a child!"
Nevertheless, Montalbán dismissed any rumors that he was gay in a 2003 interview in which he confessed that he liked women too much to be gay.
Montalbán may not be gay, but he is a fierce defender of human rights, including gay rights, and often posts against discrimination against the LGBTQ community on Instagram.
