Rob Delaney Puts Selfie on Sale 'For Use as an Album Cover or Shower Curtain Design' & Fans Are Ready to Pay Full Price
Rob Delaney, the inaugural Comedy Central's funniest person on Twitter award winner, shared a post on Instagram displaying his unhinged sense of humor. Despite a tragic loss in recent years, the actor manages to be solid and funny for the enjoyment of others.
Rob Delaney recently shared a photo of himself on Instagram posing with his arms folded and his leg bent to the side—resembling the notorious Captain Morgan pose. He rocked a black T-shirt and baseball cap with blue underpants.
It was not the look on his face or the dramatic pose that captured all the attention. Rob's fans were captivated by the hilarious caption he wrote under the picture.
Rob made a humorous announcement in the caption of his post, seeking financial support. He joked: "In some trouble financially, so I am selling this photo for £70,000 for use as an album cover or shower curtain design." His funny caption baited a few bidders, "I'll buy that shirt for £70,000," one fan proposed.
The actor responded to the fan above, asking if he could include the underpants in the deal. "Ok, but then it's only £30,000," they responded. Most of Rob's fans were keen to help; one asked if he would accept a check payment, while another quipped that their aunt had said to pay the total amount.

Rob Delany was born Robert Archer Delaney in Boston on January 19, 1977. He is a New York University Tisch School of the Arts graduate who went on to carve a path for himself as an actor. He is well known for starring in the TV series "Catastrophe" with Ashley Jensen.
His acting roles include playing Peter in "Deadpool 2" with Blake Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, and portraying Hatch Flood in "The Man Who Fell to Earth." The actor has also released a memoir dedicated to his son, Henry Delaney.
The memoir "A Heart That Works" details the brief life of Rob's two-and-a-half-year-old son, who died of brain cancer. It has been available for purchase on Amazon since November 29, 2022.
Seven months after Henry succumbed to cancer, Rob and his wife welcomed their fourth child. Rob's wife, Leah Delaney, was pregnant with his fourth child while his son Henry was alive, and he revealed that the deceased was the first to know about his incoming brother.
For Rob, welcoming his fourth child created a bittersweet feeling as they did not get to meet each other. The actor mentioned that the child he had after Henry did not take away the pain of the loss. Furthermore, the fourth child is not any less magical despite the climate of his birth.
