Katheryn Winnick Documents Her Trip to Israel: 'Next Stop, the Dead Sea'
Katheryn Winnick is currently abroad, enjoying what looks like a vacation in Israel. The actress has used the trip to tick off an item from her bucket list and looks excellent in her vacation swimsuit at 45.
Katheryn Winnick has shared a vacation selfie in a new post on Instagram. In the photo, we see the actress sporting a pair of Ray-ban shades as she readied herself for the capture. The location above her photo reveals that she was in Israel on the way to the Dead Sea.
Winnick's post surpassed a quarter million likes the day it was published. Many of her fans left comments expressing happiness for the actress's tour. She stood before a stone marked with the sea level, a giveaway of her location.
Winnick said the trip to the location was on her bucket list before adding "next stop, The Dead Sea in Israel." She shared pictures to her Instagram story of herself at The Dead Sea, enjoying a dip and having fun in the mud.
The actress looked like someone enjoying a dream come true when she stopped in Israel during her tour. Winnick wore a black one-piece bathing suit, with a white cap and black swimming shoes.

Winnick is a famed actress, director, and producer from Canada—her most coveted role as Lagertha in MGM's "Vikings," an Emmy award-winning series. Winnick's portrayal of Lagertha has been critically acclaimed and acknowledged by award ceremonies through wins and nominations.
Winnick boasts over 66 roles, including being the protagonist of "Big Sky" with Lori Pfeiffer's sister, Dedee Pfeiffer. To Segue, it's interesting to note that the star, Frida Gustavsson, from the show's follow-up series, "Vikings: Valhalla," has a concealed yet interesting private life.

Landing the role took a bit of convincing for Winnick. She auditioned for the position among people from all over the world. She was told she was not weathered enough to suit the character, so she messed her face with dirt from her backyard to look the part. Owning a Tae Kwan Do black belt and second-degree karate black belt also helped.
For Winnick, the biggest surprise came after the release of season one. Fans who enjoyed the show began sending her mail and even inking her character's face onto their bodies. She saw a massive crowd of the show's fans for the first time at Comic-Con 2015 and recalls her character's braids' impact on fashion.
Her career is at its peak even at the age of 45. Speaking of, she celebrated her birthday last December and shared a photo of herself with a heartfelt message to commemorate the day. She wore a green dress in the picture, showing off her flowy blond hair, with her makeup bringing out the depth of her eyes.
Winnick wrote, "Another trip around the sun and couldn't feel more blessed and grateful. Thank you all for the Birthday wishes, and Excited for what's yet to come! 💚."
