Gabourey Sidibe’s Husband Brandon Frankel Tattoos Her Name on Him: ‘That’s How Much I Love Her'

Gabourey Sidibe and Brandon Frankel took their relationship to the next level when the latter had his wife's name tattooed on his leg. The couple decided to wait before announcing their marriage to the world and have their fans' approval of Brandon Frankel's act of love.

On March 23, Frankel took to Instagram to show off his new ink in a video that received over 4,000 likes at the time of writing. He showed the black lettering of Sidibe's name above his knee before the following clip showed her reaction to her husband's new tattoo.

"I have a surprise," Frankel says to his wife before she spots her name on his thigh. "Oh, what did you do?" Sidibe asked before her husband let out a laugh. In the video, Frankel humorously asked his wife if he had spelled her unique name correctly before Sidibe confirmed that he had. "Good job," she said.

In the caption, her husband revealed that the actress had been worried fans might think she forced Frankel to get the tattoo. "Love my wife so much I wanted to ink her name on me forever. That's how much I love her. And she was very worried once I showed her what I did that, y'all would think she made me do it. I assure you, I'm just crazy in love," he captioned the post.

However, fans took to his comments section to praise the act of love, as one person wrote, "I love how you two love each other!!" A second person shared, "Your love for her is written all over your face...Tell her the true fans know and would never see anything other than that truth."

A third fan added, "I love the way you love her. I wish you both continued bliss." Frankel's surprise came after he and his wife celebrated their second anniversary on March 12, and he took to Instagram to share a video montage of the couple in love.

Before tying the knot, Sidibe revealed that she did not want a big or traditional wedding as she and her husband did things on their own terms. A year after saying "I do," Brandon Frankel and his wife shared the news of their marriage with the world.

Sidibe's husband also works in the entertainment industry at the virtual concert production company NoCap Shows as their chief business officer. After his previous marriage ended, he turned to the dating app Raya to find love again. After Gadourey Sidibe came into his life, he proposed in November 2020.
