Simone Ashley Accused of 'Too Intense' Photoshop in Selfie

Following her starring role in the hit series "Bridgerton," Simone Ashley has garnered a large following on social media. However, in a recent Instagram post, she sparked a debate where fans were of divided opinions about whether or not the famous actress photoshopped her pictures.

On March 27, Ashley posed for three pictures in what appeared to be a white robe. She opted for minimal jewelry bar her earrings and wore a beaming smile in the last photo of the three-image Instagram post.

The actress captioned the post with three sun emoticons, but in the comments section, some users were not a fan of her look. "Srry, but the photoshop is too intense for me. You look stunning, it's just that I don't se naturallity (sic)," one person wrote.

However, fans of the "Bridgerton" star came to her defense, with one fan explaining, "The makeup artist is great, but Simone's skin is wonderful, easy for them to create perfect skin, which may not look natural on you. I think the opposite of that, the makeup is so good that it enhances her natural beauty."

Another fan wrote, "Girl, this is literally what she looks like there is no photoshop involved there a million fan pages and pics of her out there this is her very real face" (sic).

A third commented, "It's sad that filters ect have made it so people can't tell when they are looking at natural beauty!!!! Simone does not need filters or photoshop ect at all! She has a natural beauty because she is young and has great skin ect!!! This is the real natural beauty we should see on everyone!!!! (sic) "

Ashley's page was also a topic of conversation last week when she went Instagram official with her boyfriend, Constantin "Tino" Klein. Ashley shared a picture of her and Klein cozied up at the 2023 Netflix BAFTA Awards afterparty and captioned the post, "@gregwilliamsphotography thank you for taking one of my favourite photos."

Klein studied law at King's College London before becoming a corporate lawyer. In 2020, he was named the CEO of GP Ice Race, a European winter festival where people can race their cars around a man-made ice track.

However, fans have come to know and love Simone Ashley as Jonathan Bailey's on-screen lover in "Bridgerton." And according to reports, the record-breaking Netflix series has been renewed for a third and fourth season starring Bailey and Ashley.
