The two had known each other for a while, having published Reeves's book "Ode to Happiness" together in 2011. They worked together again in 2016 and finally opened a publishing house together in 2017.

Although he enjoys dancing, Reeves confessed that he's not always the first one to bust out a boogie.

In response to a question asking when he experienced his last moment of happiness, the actor confessed that it was a few days ago with his girlfriend. He gave readers a glimpse into their relationship, saying they genuinely enjoy being together:

"A couple of days ago with my honey. We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together."

Reeves recalled a few more notable moments, saying the last time he showed off his moves on a dancefloor was at a friend's wedding. Although he enjoys dancing, Reeves confessed that he's not always the first one to bust out a boogie. But with the right person and song, he'll always be down for a turn or two.

A few weeks after the death of their daughter, Reeves and Syme's relationship crumbled.

When it comes to dreams, Reeves was slightly more cryptic. He noted that some of his favorite night-time fantasies are the ones that allow him to take flight and swoop through the air. That said, he confessed that he has had recurring nightmares, which were "too scary to describe."

It's no wonder Reeves has recurring nightmares. Although he refused to share the subject matter of these dreams, the actor has seen his fair share of tragedies that could undoubtedly contribute to his bad dreams, starting with his dad.

When Reeves was only three years old, his father walked out on him and his mother. Shortly after, the actor's dad was arrested for possession of drugs and sent to prison, leaving Reeves unable to connect with him for a large part of his life. In later years, drug abuse plagued Reeves's friends, ruining the lives of many of his close friends.

Nonetheless, Reeves stayed optimistic. He met Jennifer Syme in 1998, and the two expected to welcome a daughter in 1999. When the time came for their daughter, Ava Archer Syme-Reeves, to be born, the parents were met with tragedy instead. The little girl was stillborn.

A few weeks after the death of their daughter, Reeves and Syme's relationship crumbled. They went their separate ways, and two years later, Syme passed away after a terrible car crash. Reeves was distraught after Syme's passing, commenting, "Grief and loss don't ever go away."

Reeves also served as the primary caretaker for his sister, Kim Reeves, as she struggled with cancer for an entire decade. Sandra Bullock remarked about her "Speed" co-star after he lost his best friend, "I think Keanu has gone through a lot even though he doesn't let on. He hides a great pain."

However dark things got, Reeves remained caring and sincere. After a long struggle, his sister finally beat cancer, prompting Reeves to set up a cancer fund in her honor. Although his past still clings to him, Reeves chooses to look toward the future, a future promising many more sweet moments with his "honey."
