Anna Cardwell's cancer diagnosis surfaced in the media earlier today, just a day after she posted a heartwarming moment shared with her daughters. The TV star has the support of her family and her fans, who are confident she will overcome the illness.

Anna Cardwell took to Instagram yesterday to share a few photos about a hilarious and unexpected event at home. The reality TV personality shared with her followers about her daughters surprising her with the capturing of a young chipmunk.

In the post, we see Anna's daughters, full of delight, as they hold on to the little furry animal. According to Anna, the sisters, determined to keep it as a pet, secured the capture before heading to their father's house.

Anna detailed the chain of events in the post's caption. She wrote, "These crazy kids of my mine decided before they go to there dad's house they want to give me a heart attack and catch a chipmunk and bring it in the house and wanted it as a pet 😂 and the last photo I can't explain it's Kaitlyn 🤣🤣."

Anna has two daughters whom she shares with two of her former partners. She shares the older daughter, Kaitlyn Shannon, with her ex-boyfriend, Celeb Clark. Anna's younger daughter Kylee Madison Cardwell was born in her marriage with ex-husband Michael Cardwell.

Anna shared her Instagram post just one day before TMZ alleged heartbreaking news that she was diagnosed with stage four adrenal carcinoma in January. The 28-year-old mother of two suffered stomach aches, which led her to undergo several tests revealing she had lung, liver, and kidney cancer.

She had already begun her chemotherapy treatment in February. As things stand, medical professionals are on standby observing Anna's reaction to the chemo so that they can decipher a way forward.

Anna's family is optimistic that she will pull through and recover from the illness. Her fans used the recent post as a platform to show love. One of her supporters wrote, "Praying for you sweet girl. ❤️ you got this!" Another said they were thinking about Anna and encouraged her, saying she's a strong woman.

Anna's mother, June Shannon, recently tied the knot with her husband, Justin Stroud. Despite the wedge in their relationship, Anna still supported her mother on her big day. Anna fell out with her mother over a reunion with an allegedly abusive partner from Anna's teenage years.
