Michelle Monaghan Shines ‘Like the Sun’ at 47 as She Stuns in White Mini-Dress in Photo
Deep in vacation mode, Michelle Monaghan posted two photos on Sunday taken in the "morning light." She highlighted another advantage of being outside that early, "low UV index!"
A fan of Michelle Monaghan commented, "You always shine like the sun," echoed by a second, "No words for your beauty Michelle. Two simple photos, and you always shine."
Another Instagram user went further, "Your light eclipse the sun," while one admirer skipped the metaphors and similes altogether: "I think you're absolutely gorgeous, Michelle!"
Zoe Colletti, the star and Mark Wahlberg's on-screen daughter in "The Family Plan," commented, "Prettiest movie mom," to which Monaghan replied, "I MISS YOU, RASCAL! ❤."
In mid-March, the " Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" actress shared a beauty staple in her home, Atopic Skin Defense by Herbitual, in a post that was not marked as a sponsored post. She wrote:
"If you have dry, sensitive, or eczema-prone skin, I'm pleased to introduce you to [Herbitual]. It's the relief you've been waiting for."
Aaron Paul commented, "I use that! And I am obsessed with it. Love you!!" She confirmed that she, too, is "obsessed," adding, "Love you, buddy!! X"
The "Luther" star was shocked when the dermatologist informed her it was a melanoma.
Jumping in the tread, the official Herbitual account wrote, "We love YOU!" tagging both actors. The skin protectant cream retails at $48 a jar.
Michelle Monaghan Takes Extra Care of Her Skin after Surviving Skin Cancer
According to a Skin Cancer Foundation blog, the actress, who would eventually be dubbed "the sunscreen queen" by her husband, Peter White, spent her youth as an Iowa farm girl outdoors without sun protection.
Monaghan's attitude changed when her Aussie husband, who is well versed in skin cancer as it is taught in Australian schools, encouraged her to have a mole checked out. The "Luther" star was shocked when the dermatologist informed her it was a melanoma.
The physician could remove the whole tumor from her leg through excisional surgery. Catching the melanoma so early saved Michelle Monaghan from cancer spreading. She now sees a dermatologist twice yearly, making SPF part of her daily routine.
She advised finding a sunscreen that fits your daily beauty regime. She uses a chemical-free SPF-41 product with a tint that acts as a moisturizer and sunscreen and gives a "nice, even coverage."
