Michelle Monaghan Displays Toned Abs in Red Crop Top and Skirt for a Night Out in Pics

According to Michelle Monaghan, the actress is in better shape now than in her 20s thanks to a "crazy awesome" fitness routine that includes a morning hike and a balanced diet. With over a million followers on Instagram, Michelle Monaghan has often taken to social media to flaunt her in-shape physique.

On March 12, Monaghan took to Instagram to share pictures of herself in a crimson two-piece from Patou. She also clutched a light gray-blue purse from the brand and opted for a sleek ponytail, a soft lip, and a winged eye.

"Code red. I'm going out two nights in a row," Monaghan captioned the post in part. The actress has proved she can rock any style, from a hoodie to classy coats, jeans, and boots.

On January 5, Monaghan posted a picture of herself surrounded by greenery in fitness gear as she smiled at the camera and paired her fitness look with shades. She followed the Instagram post with a mirror selfie of her dressed down in a sleeveless black top and sweats, ready for "A scrappy Sat night!"

Monaghan revealed that she had achieved a healthy body at 46 by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The mother of two's "crazy awesome" routine begins with a morning hike after dropping her children — daughter Willow and son Tommy— at school.

Other times, she'll go for a three-mile run. As the running tightens her muscles, Monaghan's new-found love for Pilates helps loosen her up. After playing a Spin instructor in a movie, the Hollywood star fell in love with cycling.

However, it is all about balance for Monaghan, who still occasionally gives in to her cravings and doesn't beat herself up whenever she misses a workout. The actress said:

"I throw myself a bone and don't get too worried about it. I know that when I have time again, I can kick it up a notch. I also need to be an example for my daughter. That means I can't run around worried about what I look like."

Monaghan's daughter inspired her mom's fitness journey, as the "The Best of Me" star grew a love for working out after welcoming Willow.

Monaghan— who has shared the screen with Patrick Dempsey, Olivia Wilde and Jane Fonda— has since found a way to stay in shape, which sometimes includes her children, and revealed that she is in better shape now than she was in her 20s.
