It's a day of celebration for the Bieber and Mallette family as Pattie Mallette celebrates another year of life. The mother of iconic singer Justin Bieber shared some photos on Instagram celebrating her 48th birthday.

On April 2, Pattie shared a picture of herself doing art as a creative celebration of her life. She has got love and support poured into her comment section.

We see Pattie smiling behind a canvas, seemingly ready to get the creative juices flowing. "Art day today with friends to celebrate another year 🥳🎨," she captioned the snap. But the singer's mother didn't stop there, sharing a throwback to a childhood birthday party on her Instagram story.

In the Instagram story, we see her blowing out candles in the presence of her loved ones, with her adorable birthday outfit and hairdo. Pattie's daughter-in-law also took the birthday celebrations to her Instagram story, sharing a selfie of herself and the lady of the moment, who then reshared it.

As of this writing, her superstar son has not shared anything about her birthday. However, Justin's fans reached out to Pattie, wishing her a happy birthday. One fan wrote a touching comment thanking her for birthing Justin.

Justin celebrated his birthday almost precisely a month ago, on March 1. However, his wife, Hailey Bieber's efforts to wish Justin on his birthday did not go as planned, sparking fan backlash.

Justin might have skipped the birthday posts but avidly displays his love for Pattie on social media. One such occasion was Mother's Day 2022 when the singer shared a touching greyscale video of himself singing "A Song For Mama" by Boyz II Men—a music group that famously collaborated with Mariah Carey on "One Sweet Day."

The singer also shared a photo of himself and his mother with their hands on the coveted ice hockey trophy, The Stanley Cup. He captioned the post, "Happy Mother's Day mom, we're gonna bring back lord Stanley's Cup to Toronto this year, and it will be beautiful."

The photo was a major throwback to Justin's teenage years. We see him dressed in a red hoodie and off-white slacks, which according to a Daily Mail report, resembles his iconic style. Pattie dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a black short sleeve T-shirt covered by sleeveless knitwear.

Besides the artist's tribute to his mother on special holidays, he has been spotted with her publicly. Pattie was spotted entering an LA church in December last year with her superstar son, who did not seem keen for photos. Paparazzi were right on cue to photograph the birthday girl and her son.

Justin's Relationship with Pattie Wasn't Always in a Good Place

Pattie and her son are on good terms with each other right now, but this was not always the case, as they had some past fallouts. Some issues stemmed from the singer's encounters with the law, like the one in 2014.

Justin was on his road to pop stardom when he was charged with driving under the influence in 2014. After the incident, the singer mentioned that his relationship with Pattie was nonexistent. Still, he added that he stayed away because he was ashamed and knew Pattie was disappointed in him.
