Dowler's father, Alexander, served as a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy. He lived in Penzance, Cornwall, when Dowler was born in 1975. At that time, the family had no idea that the newest addition to their family would grow up to be the embodiment of perfection.

"He's lovely!"

Besides supporting her during difficult times, Dowler liked baking for her bakery venture. On that show, Esposito revealed they had picked a date for their wedding, but she didn't announce when her second wedding would occur.

On November 16, 2014, Dowler and Esposito got married in New York City. Their fans were excited about the couple's new journey together, but no one knew their marriage was to be short-lived.
