America Ferrera's Kids Lucia Marisol and Sebastian Piers Williams Are the Actress's Pride and Joy
America Ferrera's kids, Sebastian and Lucia Marisol Williams, were born in starkly different eras, and their personalities are proof of it. Although the youngsters' parents have protected them from the public eye, they've allowed the world a glimpse into their family life.
Born in Los Angeles, California, in 1984, America Ferrera began acting at eight, participating in school stage plays and community theater. Though she attained an International Relations degree at the University of Southern California, America would lead a noteworthy career in the entertainment industry.
She's chiefly known for her long-standing role as Betty Suarez in the acclaimed ABC show "Ugly Betty" and as Carmen Lowell in "The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants" films. Soon, the actress will appear in the much-anticipated live-action "Barbie" movie alongside a star-studded cast.

However, gracing big screens isn't the only thing that occupies America's time, as the actress is also a mother of two. She and her husband have been careful to guard their children against the spotlight, but even so, they've shared a few of the little ones' significant milestones and challenges.
Sebastian Piers Williams Is America Ferrera's Firstborn, That She Welcomed with Ryan Piers Williams
America announced she was expecting her first baby with her husband, Ryan Piers Williams, on New Year's Eve of 2017. The couple, who married in June 2011, welcomed their son, Sebastian, the following year in May. America shared an adorable photo of her hand and Ryan's holding baby Sebastian's tiny foot, as she wrote:
"When 2 become 3... Welcome Sebastian Piers Williams - aka Baz! We are happy, healthy and totally in love!"
Sebastian has since made sporadic appearances on his mother's social pages, though not without facing away from the camera or having his face covered with an emoji. On one of those occasions in 2020, fans were baffled to see the then-two-year-old sporting long golden locks. Even his mother admitted her surprise regarding why his hair was blonde, as she remarked:
"I ask myself that every day."
America has celebrated her love for Sebastian consistently on social media. She penned a heartwarming tribute in 2021 when the toddler marked his third birthday. The previous year, Ryan included Sebastian in another post wishing his followers a prosperous 2020. He also shared a sweet and hilarious photo of the boy giving his dad a haircut that May.

Ryan revealed his wife was expecting again in January 2020, and a few months later, she opened up about her anxiety regarding having a baby amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite her fears, she was confident she could pull through. That May, she gave birth to a baby girl, Lucia Marisol, only a few weeks before Mother's Day and Sebastian's birthday.
In December 2020, America opened up about how overwhelming it was to juggle motherhood and work from home during the lockdown. She also noted how raising Lucia away from the world affected her personality, as she explained:
"Whenever there is an occasion for a new face, she just bursts into tears. She doesn't know what to do with new faces. [...]"
Sebastian was different as he was born two years before Covid-19. America said she went everywhere with him, so he grew accustomed to "new faces." Still, she hoped Lucia would eventually grow out of her jitters. Like her brother, the little one has appeared on her parents' social pages, including Mother's Day posts and snaps from family trips and beach days.

The Hollywood starlet told People that Lucia and Sebastian didn't have the context to understand the hype around the film, adding, "So one day [they might care].
