‘What Have You Done’: Jenna Dewan Gets Criticized over ‘Scary’ Appearance in Selfie

Jenna Dewan took to Instagram to share a life update with her followers and was met with backlash from fans for her appearance. Social media users accused the actress of having work done, and it was not the first time.

In a recent Instagram post, Dewan shared a glimpse of her life with her partner and two children during the Easter holidays and started the photo dump with a fresh-faced selfie. However, people in the comments section were not fans of the actress's "transformation," as one person wrote, "No, what have you done to your beautiful face?"

"Plz, no more botox and fillers, you look so funny (sic)," another person commented, and a third shared, "Wow, to much work done looks so weird (sic)." "What happened to the pretty face she used to have?? Terrible transformation," another user wrote, and a fourth added, "The first pic, Lord, so scary."

It's not the first time Dewan has been accused of having work done on her face. In 2020, she shared a close-up selfie, and in the comments section, one person wrote, "You look so empty, lifeless... even with some glow," and another shared, "Please stop getting work done on your face. Your looking plastic."

While Dewan has not addressed the allegations of her having work done on her face, the actress has shared a step-by-step look at her skincare routine as a "skin junkie." She starts the process with a cleanser, followed by glow drops and rose oil that she pats into her skin for extra moisture and a little glow.

As someone with melasma, Dewan shared that she has to wear a "ridiculous amount of sunscreen," which is the next step in her skincare routine.

To tackle any fine lines under her eyes, Dewan goes in with an eye cream, and to tighten and wake up the skin as well as push all her products into her skin, the actress goes in with a facial massage beauty roller. To wrap up her routine, Dewan goes in with a facial treatment essence that brightens and evens the skin.

Aside from turning to social media to share her beauty tips, the working mom also posts photos of her children. The actress shares her eldest daughter, Everly, with her ex-husband Channing Tatum and welcomed her son Callum with her fiancé Steve Kazee. "We don't have any sibling rivalry.... He worships her, and she thinks he's so cute," she shared.

Jenna Dewan added that as a working mom who loves what she does, she's glad her children can watch her do something she is passionate about. "I feel really grateful that I get to work in the way that I get to work. They feel that, they see that," she said.
