BLACKPINK's Jisoo doesn't have a long dating history, but it remains a subject of interest worldwide. In recent years, the singer has found herself embroiled in several rumors regarding her potential romantic partners. Among her rumored lovers were an internationally renowned soccer player and one of her former co-stars.

Jisoo drew her first breath in Gunpo, Korea, on January 3, 1995. She studied at the School of Performing Arts High School in her hometown and was popular for her talents and beauty. She later transferred schools when her family relocated to Seoul.

Jisoo started training at YG Entertainment when she was 16 and joined BLACKPINK, a globally renowned K-pop group, five years later as the lead singer. In addition to what became a rewarding career as a vocalist, Jisoo is also an actress. She appeared briefly in the 2015 comedy-drama "THE Producers" and the 2019 TV series "Arthdal Chronicles."

Her latest acting credit was a starring role in the crime drama, "Snowdrop," alongside Jung Hae-in, where she shared an on-screen romance with the actor. Apart from accruing fame as a BLACKPINK member, her performance in "Snowdrop" garnered growing interest in her love life among fans.

Jisoo Has Never Been Confirmed to Be in a Relationship

Like other BLACKPINK members, Jisoo has guarded her romantic life against the spotlight; only Jennie Kim has ever publicly confirmed her relationship status. Most, if not all, of the reports regarding who Jisoo is dating are speculative stories, some of which remain unconfirmed.

In September 2019, she attended a Spurs game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. She posted a clip from the sports event depicting Son Heung-min scoring a goal. As fans recognized the soccer star in the video, rumors immediately spread that Son and Jisoo were a couple, though many dismissed the insinuation.

Still, it continued in 2021 when the alleged lovers happened to fly from France to South Korea on the same day. Eventually, YG Entertainment intervened, offering an official statement that denied Son and Jisoo were romantically involved. The label implored the media to refrain from perpetrating "groundless speculation."

Jisoo was also romantically linked to her "Snowdrop" co-star, Jung, due to their on-screen chemistry. "Snowdrop" follows the story of a young university student named Eun Young Ro (Jisoo) who finds Lim Soo Ho (Jung) covered in blood and hides him in her dorm.

As the story unravels, so does Lim's true nature and identity. However, this doesn't stand in the way of his and Eun's romance, as it blossoms amid political unrest between November and December 1987 — a significant year in Korean political history.

The on-screen chemistry between Jisoo and Jung's characters inspired the hashtag #Haesoo, as fans hoped the two would realize their TV romance off-screen. Just days ago, one fan wrote, "It's impossible to get over from these two!! [...] #haesoo forever [snowflake emoji, blue heart emoji]. (sic)"

Another wrote about Jung and Jisoo meeting after a BLACKPINK concert last October, describing how they wore matching hoodies and seemed comfortable in each other's presence from their body language. The Twitter user added the #Haesoo at the end of their sweet observation.

It read, "This happened in real life. Them in matching hoodies, her hand resting comfortably on his shoulder, him strengthening bonds with the Kims backstage and, most importantly, showing her/them that he'll always be there for her no matter what. #Haesoo"

Jung and Jisoo may have gotten popular as an on-screen couple, but it was also their interactions on set that captured millions of hearts. The two often found themselves blushing and giggling during eye-contact scenes and even the more serious ones.

It remains to be known if they ever dated; however, it appears they are good friends who support each other outside of their collaborative work. Other celebrities who made headlines for their on-screen chemistry include Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the "Twilight" films and Olivia DeJonge and Vanessa Hudgens' ex-boyfriend, Austin Butler, in 2022's "Elvis."
