Wynonna Judd Shares a Sneak Peek inside Granddaughter's Birthday Celebration as Baby Kaliyah Turns 1
Wynonna Judd's granddaughter Kaliyah recently turned one. The country singer shares a special bond with her, and she once revealed that Kaliyah gave her hope when she lost her mother.
When Wynonna's mother, Naomi Judd, died, her tragic death left her devastated. In that challenging period, the singer said she found consolation from her granddaughter, Kaliyah, who gave her hope.
Kaliyah, Wynonna's first grandchild, was born on April 13, 2022, two weeks and two days before her mother died by suicide.

Recently, Kaliyah turned one, and Wynonna Judd took to her Instagram stories to celebrate her birthday. She shared a photo of a cute pink birthday cake alongside a sweet message and tagged the baker, noting that it was the best cake and it made Kaliyah's first birthday so sweet.
The cake turned out perfect, and the design was unique, with an ice cream theme. The baker, Rachel Fisher, shared photos of the cake and captioned, "What's cuter than a melted ice cream cake? A baby-size melted ice cream cake! Thank you, @wynonnajudd, for letting me be a part of your sugar's #firstbirthday!"
Wynonna first mentioned her granddaughter on Instagram in a long, heartbreaking post, adding that Kaliyah's arrival happened two weeks and two days before her mom's death. The singer has since been committed to being part of her grandchild's life but rarely shared pictures of Kaliyah on social media.
However, she once shared a picture with a baby stroller while she was out for a walk. Though the baby's face can't be seen, fans concluded that the singer was spending time with her granddaughter.
Wynonna Judd's daughter, Grace Pauline Kelley (Kaliyah's mother), frequently posts her photos on social media. She shared Kaliyah's most recent photo, where the one-year-old can be seen standing on her feet beside a baby stroller.
Kaliyah's mother, Kelley, has had a troubled past with drug addiction and was behind bars several times. In 2019, Kelly was released from prison six years early following a parole-granted report.
Based on reports, Wynonna's daughter was sentenced to prison after leaving a court-order recovery program in 2017 and violating her probation. Despite Kelley's troubles, Wynonna Judd has remained supportive of her, and she once revealed that her daughter was the strongest woman in her family.
