John Fogerty Celebrates 32nd Wedding Anniversary with His 'Fairy-Tale Princess' Wife Julie

Singer-songwriter John Fogerty and his wife, Julie Lebiedzinski, have proved that marriage can stand the test of time. The couple has been together for over three decades and still counting.

Fogerty and Lebiedzinski have remained strong in a solid marriage and recently celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary. A post was published on Fogerty's Instagram page to celebrate their beautiful love story.

It read, "32 years ago today, John and Julie were married in Bristol, Indiana. Happy wedding anniversary! May your love continue to grow stronger with each passing year," alongside a throwback photo of the couple on their wedding day.

Later on, the veteran singer-songwriter shared a current photo of him and his wife and captioned it, "Out with my sweet Julie for our anniversary dinner tonight, 32 years!" Fogerty, who had visited Vegas for a private performance then, continued, "Back in Vegas for a private show, then off to Connecticut and New York for the kickoff of the celebration tour!!"

The couple shares a beautiful love story. In Fogerty's biography, "Fortunate Son," the pair narrates how they first crossed paths. Lebiedzinski, born and raised in northern Indiana, met Fogerty on September 24, 1986, in Indianapolis.

When Fogerty first saw Lebiedzinski, she blew his mind away; he said she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. The singer recalled how Lebiedzinski made the first move. She approached him and requested to shake his hand. Later, the two got acquainted before Fogerty offered to buy her a drink.

At the time, Lebiedzinski was in the process of finalizing her divorce, while Fogerty had a rocky relationship. Little did they know that would be the genesis of their beautiful love story.

The "Cotton Fields" singer, who was not in a happy relationship with a woman named Martha, revealed that he found the courage to walk away with the hope of finding unconditional love. He finally found true love with Lebiedzinski, whom he refers to as his fairy-tale princess. "Julie is my fairy-tale princess, and it will always be that way for the rest of eternity," he confessed in his book.

Some of Fogerty's famous songs include "Almost Saturday Night" and "Fortunate Son," on which he collaborated with the rock band Foo Fighters, whose members include Dave Grohl, and Taylor Hawkins, among others.
