Your Dad Would Be So Proud': Michael Landon's Daughter Jen Landon Joins People's Beautiful Issue

Jen Landon thanked PEOPLE on Tuesday for including her in their Beautiful Issue along with her Paramount Network colleagues, who she greatly respects and admires.

"They are as wise as they are kind. And as kind as they are beautiful," Jen Landon wrote of her co-stars in the "Yellowstone" franchise, Kelsey Asbille, Aminah Nieves, Julia Schlaepfer, and Piper Perabo, who were featured in the article and photoshoot with her.

The actress, who mostly dons flannels, a backward baseball cap, and dusty jeans in the series, was styled by Heidi Meek in a dark metallic Grecian gown. "Can't help but think how proud your pops would be," a fan wrote, echoed by another, "Your dad would be so proud."

A third fan agreed, "Your Dad would be so proud! I'm sure your Mom is!! I love this show, and my jaw dropped when I figured out who you were in real life! You're an amazing actress!"

"WOWOWOWOWO this is truly incredible," Jen's "Yellowstone" co-star, Jefferson White, commented. "♥ You're a magical being ♥," India de Beaufort wrote under the April 25, 2023 post.

"Ohhhh, how spectacular you look! What fun this must have been! I always think you are precious, but this is stunning!" an Instagram user said.

Jen leaned into her character in the PEOPLE interview, joking that the shoot for the magazine was the first time in four years she had a shower and had her makeup done.

Jen reflected on how some people are handed a "golden kind of image" when they die.

The publication highlighted that Cindy Clerico and Michael Landon's daughter travels with a portable shower implement that she bought online. She needs to shower every day.

For a Q&A in July 2017, she vividly recalled one of her favorite memories with her dad and legendary TV Star. She told of how her father had treated her and a friend on a ski trip when she was around three or four:

"I walked outside, and all the fresh snow was pink … completely pink. He had taken Nestle's Quik strawberry powder, which was my favorite food on earth and forbidden by my mother, and covered the entire backyard in it."

The "Little House on the Prairie" actor died when his daughter was seven. Jen reflected on how some people are handed a "golden kind of image" when they die, but she is confident that her father, Michael Landon, has a genuine golden image.
