Iliza Shlesinger's Husband Is Famous Chef and Writer Noah Galuten – All We Know About Their Marriage

Iliza Shlesinger's husband, Noah Galuten, is a star in his own right in a different industry. The pair met through a dating app in 2016 and have since been living in marital bliss with a recent addition to their family.

Award-winning actress, comedian, and television host Iliza Shlesinger has been in the industry for over a decade with several on-screen credits. She is most recognized for her appearances on "Spenser Confidential," "Good on Paper," and "Instant Family," and her hosting on "Excused" and "Separation Anxiety."

In 2017, she was given her own talk show, "Truth & Iliza," and three years later, Shlesinger released five comedy specials under the streaming giant Netflix. Shlesinger is undoubtedly a career woman; however, she still makes time for her husband and daughter.

Iliza Shlesinger's Heart Is Taken by Her Husband, Noah Galuten

Shlesinger met her husband, Noah Galuten, through a dating app in July 2016. The couple quickly fell in love, and in less than a year, Galuten proposed in what was a hilarious and unforgettable proposal. Shlesinger narrated:

"I remember starting to unbutton my pants as I came in the door because I had to pee. I realized our living room was full of flowers and candles, and Noah stopped me before I left the room."

Shlesinger and Galuten tied the knot on May 12, 2018, at the City View Penthouse & Skydeck, Los Angeles. The entertainer was a vision in white, wearing a stunning Monique Lhuillier gown.

The couple also had a special guest, Shlesinger's fur baby, Blanche, who was the flower girl at their wedding. According to the doting bride, she would have wanted to carry Blanche instead of her bouquet. "Our first kiss would have been Blanche, Noah, and me," she added.

Since tying the knot, Shlesinger and Galuten reportedly purchased a Laurel Canyon residence in 2019, about twice the size of their previous home.

Shlesinger undoubtedly basks in the fruits of her labor. However, she isn't the only one who has made a name for herself. Her husband, Galuten, is a known chef and James Beard Award-nominated cookbook author.

He previously wrote for LA Weekly and Los Angeles Magazine before becoming a chef at Bludso's Bar & Que. As his career progressed, Galuten became J Howard Restaurant Group's Culinary Director.

His success in the food industry has allowed him to appear on the television shows "Chopped," "The Talk," and "The Kelly Clarkson Show." Galuten now hosts a YouTube show called "Don't Panic Pantry."

Although his days can get busy, Iliza Shlesinger's husband receives support from her. Shlesinger is proud of her husband and his work and isn't shy to post about it on social media. "Today was day one of the shoot for his beautiful book. And I'm so proud I could cry while eating," she wrote on Instagram.

Noah Galuten and Iliza Shlesinger Welcomed Their First Child in 2022

After years of working toward their dreams, Galuten and Shlesinger decided to expand their family in 2022. She announced her pregnancy in 2021 and received overwhelming love and support from fans.

On January 13, 2022, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Sierra Mae. Shortly after her birth, Shlesinger revealed that she and her daughter were doing well, while Galuten experienced back aches. "Unrelated to pregnancy," she quipped.

Admittedly, motherhood came with hysteria, which Shlesinger believes comes from loving her child endlessly. She knows she only wants the best for Sierra and is sometimes overwhelmed by the amount of love she has.

Since welcoming Sierra into her life, Shlesinger's perspective on many things has become brighter and better. She is filled with joy and pride to be the mother of Sierra Mae.

Becoming a mom is undoubtedly one of the world's most challenging and crucial roles. However, many strong women raised their children well under difficult circumstances, including Halle Berry's mother, Judith Ann Hawkins, who did it alone.

Actress Patty Duke also faced obstacles as a mother battling bipolar disorder. She once opened up about berating her children due to her condition.
