The "The Graduate" star said in her Los Angeles County Superior Court filing that Cleo had a sudden violent episode where she threatened her life. The court documents revealed the incident had occurred on March 2, 2011, while Katharine and her daughter were at their Malibu family home.

Katharine claimed she attempted to call the police, but her daughter cut the phone line with scissors before attacking her with them. She further alleged that from age 12 or 13, Cleo had been verbally and physically abusive.
