Celebrity Splits in 2023 So Far: Kevin Costner, Jeremy Allen White & More
Multiple celebrity breakups in 2023 shook the entertainment industry less than halfway into the year. Even the most beloved romances still came to an end.
The start of 2023 wasn't kind enough for some esteemed Hollywood couples. While the likes of Marlo Thomas and Phil Donahue withstood the test of time, the same could not be said for the romance of these twosomes.
From award-winning actors to reality TV stars saw their marriages come to a close. Though it may sound like a surprise to fans, some of these couples had separated for months. However, despite splitting up, others remained friends.

Only months ago, White gushed about how "grateful" he was to the actress as he accepted the Golden Globe award for best musical or comedic actor. "Addison Timlin, I love you deep in my bones; thank you for all that you do, thank you for everything that you've done," he said.

Kevin Costner's wife of 18 years Christine Baumgartner, 49, reportedly cited "irreconcilable differences" in her divorce filing on May 2. The actor's representative spoke up on his behalf and said, "It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action."
The actor's demanding schedule became too difficult for Baumgartner, and his extended absences had taken its toll on their relationship. The exes last appeared in public together at the Oscars in March. A source debunked any cheating allegations as the "Yellowstone" actor reportedly wanted the mother of his three kids back.

The breakup came after a woman, only revealed as Jane Doe accused Allen of sexual abuse and harassment for almost two years. The former couple officially filed for divorce on April 28, with the singer asking for joint custody of their two little kids. However, he reportedly requested their children to live primarily with Gale.
