Is Ramona Young Dating Anyone? She Has Not Publicly Confirmed Any Relationship
Ramona Young's dating status remains a question mark as she uses her online platform to spotlight other exciting facets of her life and career.
For Ramona Young, joining the cast of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" in its third season was a way to prove that she is capable of more than being a guest star. She had guested in "Santa Clarita Diet," "Super Fun Night," and "The Real O'Neals."
Playing the eccentric Eleanor in "Never Have I Ever" in 2020 was her big break. The young self-taught screenwriter posts more freely about her work and friendships than romantic prospects.

Ramona Young's Instagram Is Full of Friends and Onscreen Moments, Her Private Life Is Unknown
"Single dads goofing off," Young playfully captioned a night out with her "Never Have I Ever" colleagues Lee Rodriguez and Christina Kartchner.
The trio dressed up and made silly faces for the camera in the February 24, 2023 post. This is the general theme of the Los Angeles native social media, fun outings with friends with a splattering of work obligations.
Her social media is full of fun shots with her current and former cast mates. She attended her first LA Clippers game with Sydney Viengluang, a friend and "Z Nation" cast mate, in January 2023.
She posted about her jiujitsu "family" towards the end of 2022, a sport that has been a big part of her" joy, refuge, and growth" since she took it up. Young wrote:
"I have so much respect and gratitude for this special group of people."
The starlet and a selection of "NHIE" cast appeared on "Family Feud Live" hosted by Steve Harvey. Young posted a photo from the set in March 2022 of the Gen Z performers posing dramatically.
Ramona Young Had an Onscreen Love Story in Her 'Never Have I Ever' Role
"NHIE" viewers got a fun surprise in season three when Benjamin Norris' character, Trent, had his part expanded to become Young's boyfriend. The actress said of Norris, who is engaged to Carolyn Gilroy in real life:
"He is such a kind, giving actor, and he'll check in on me because we have some pretty romantic scenes together."
The writers of the Mindy Kaling executive-produced show allowed Eleanor and Trent to fall in love and have a judgment-free first sexual encounter in a fashion that was romantic for their characters.
Young highlights the couple's charm, emphasizing their contrasting nature as the source of their appeal. She explains that the unexpectedness of their love is what makes it truly special.
Despite their stark differences, there is remarkable chemistry when they are together. The actress further described their relationship as cute, functional, and amusing. She also noted that her onscreen partner was a gentleman who made the process fun.

Ramona Cares about Her Friends and Co-Workers from 'Never Have I Ever'
Eleanor's collection of wacky earrings and loud outfits are part of what Young enjoys about playing the drama student, and that's just part of the allure. Asked about the most fun element of filming the teen series, she told a publication in August 2022:
"Personally, aside from going to costume fittings for Eleanor, I love when we first get the scripts for our table reads because the writing is always so entertaining."
"But in addition to that," she continued, "I get to experience the storylines for the first time with all my friends and co-workers who I genuinely care so deeply for."
Her Role Also Focuses on Her Relationship with Her Mother
"I played my truth when I played Eleanor and her background for sure," Young said after the first season of "Never Have I Ever" premiered online.
In the first season, Eleanor, who worships her absent actress mother, goes through tremendous personal growth when she accepts that her mom is not her "idea of perfection."
Eleanor's journey in the show allows her to develop a stronger sense of self-reliance and reliance on her two closest friends, Devi and Fabiola, portrayed by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Lee Rodriguez, respectively.
Young deeply values how the show challenges and subverts stereotypes surrounding Asian American teenagers often portrayed in mainstream media.
