Théo Augier Bonaventure & Anthony Keyvan Dating Status Is Unknown: No Real-Life Connection Found on Instagram
Théo Augier Bonaventure captivates audiences with his portrayal of a gay character in the Netflix spinoff "XO, Kitty." While his performance showcases his talent, fans wonder about his dating status, and a search through his Instagram reveals no evidence of a real-life relationship with co-star Anthony Keyvan.
Théo Augier Bonaventure is a multi-talented actor, director, and writer known for his trilingual, French, Greek, and English speaking abilities. Raised in Athens, he later moved to Paris, France, in his teens to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
In 2017, he showcased his talent as a filmmaker by writing and directing the short film "Haut et Fort" (High and Loud). Since then, he has made a name for himself in the French industry with notable credits like "Une mort sans importance" (A Meaningless Death) in 2019.
He got exposed to a global audience when cast in the third season of "Les grands" (Grownups) in 2019, a four-episode arc in season two of "Mythomaniac" in 2021, and the 2022 adaptation "Endless Night." All three of these shows are available on Netflix.
In 2023, the "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" trilogy expanded with a spinoff series titled "XO, Kitty." The spinoff centers around Kitty, the younger sister of Lana Condor's character, Lara Jean.
Bonaventure joined the cast as Florian, a French-Greek student at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS). His character serves as both Q's love interest and a source of moral dilemma, adding depth to the storyline.
Are Théo Augier Bonaventure and Anthony Keyvan Together in Real-Life?
When Kitty, portrayed by Anna Cathcart, arrives at the KISS, she sets a range of events that affect everyone around her, for better and worse. She successfully played matchmaker between Q, played by Anthony Keyvan, and Bonaventure's Florian.
However, the reality of Florian being ranked at the top of their class after he cheated in the finals places an ethical quandary on their fledgling relationship.
A direct consequence is that the former number one Q's best friend and roommate, Dae (Minyeong Choi), could lose his scholarship covering his room and boarding.
"I would like to think that Q is a bros before [expletive] kind of guy, the kind of person that puts his friends first," Keyvan told TheWrap following an open-ended finale.
"I just want a Q/Florian spinoff now!!!" one viewer declared on social media a few days after the show was released in mid-May 2023. The "Love, Victor" actor does not share this hope:
"[...] if that love story is to be continued, then I'd like to see that as well, but honestly, I think Q deserves to be that best friend for his best friend and maybe find another love story in the future."
Kitty and Dae are not the only couple fans are "shipping" on the South Korean shot spinoff set in the "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" universe.
Keyvan does not follow his onscreen love interest on Instagram.
"I love Q and Florian," a Twitter user wrote; another fan expressed their appreciation for the LGBTQI+ couple in all caps, "Q AND FLORIAN ARE SO CUTE I LOVE THEM !!!"
As other devoted fans of the teen drama series proclaimed their love for the couple, one fan chimed in and gave their opinion. The fan declared: "Florian and Q!! best ship."
Although fans were eager to see the co-stars take their onscreen high school romance into real life, there is no proof that their relationship extends beyond the set. In today's digital age, where posting about each other on social media is seen as a sign of intimacy and friendship, Bonaventure and Keyvan have not engaged in such behavior.
Notably, Keyvan does not follow his onscreen love interest on Instagram, and there is no social media content featuring just the two of them on their main grids.
The French-Greek actor posted a photo of the core eight performers of "XO, Kitty" on the day of the show's release, May 18, 2023, but was not in any group shots Keyvan posted five days earlier.
