Minyeong Choi's Dating History Is Unknown Though He Shared Ideal Boyfriend Qualities
Minyeong Choi's dating history is not as well chronicled as his character's in the "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" universe. The K-drama star has openly discussed his private life but has shed light on his perception of an ideal boyfriend.
Minyeong Choi got into acting as an extramural activity in school. The kid who dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player landed K-drama auditions his mom nudged him to go to for fun. Most recently, he played in the popular Netflix series "Twenty-Five Twenty-One."
He sent off his self-taped audition for "XO, Kitty," his first English production, as a learning experience and was shocked when he was offered the part.

Is Minyeong Choi Romantically Involved with His On-Screen Partner Anna Cathcart?
Anna Cathcart was the precocious little sister of Lana Condor's Lara Jean in the "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" trilogy since 2018. No one was more shocked that she had grown up since shooting the films than her new co-star.
"Oh, Kitty grew up," was Choi's reaction when he met with Cathcart over Zoom for the first time. He saw a different side of her as she was less "perky" than the pre-teen she initially portrayed:
"She was just staying calm. And then she only talked when she had to talk. I felt like she was pretty charismatic."
In addition to their Zoom meetups, Choi got to know his cast mates better from a group chat. The first important titbit he learned about his new colleagues was that Sang Heon, who portrays his best friend Min Ho, and Gia Kim, who plays Yuri, are real-life siblings.
Choi played Dae Heon, Cathcart's on-screen long-distance boyfriend, and spoke about getting into character. He revealed it was his first lead role as an adult, and living like Dae helped him connect with the character and cast.

Choi also connected with Dae's relationship with Kitty and revealed that reading some scenes, especially the airport scene was sad and heartbreaking. He remarked that since the start of his career in 2014, this is the role he has connected with the most.
Is Anna Cathcart Minyeong Choi's girlfriend in real life? There is no evidence to support this fan-held hope backed by a history of co-stars dating like "Twilight's" Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson; and Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth in "The Last Song."
Nothing Is Known about Minyeong Choi's Dating History
While Choi's relationship status remains undisclosed, fans can glimpse his potential as a boyfriend through his pink-carpet interview during the premiere of "XO, Kitty."
He deemed some of the best qualities of a boyfriend to be "respect and paying attention." During his first major event in the United States, the dimpled actor remarked, "at the end of the day, sincerity and truth." He believes these four qualities contribute to an ideal partner.
While still speaking on the carpet, Choi, who was wearing an all-black suit ensemble featuring a fitted black blazer with sliver pinstripes paired with a patterned shirt and a plain pair of trousers, did not fool anyone when he gave a self-deprecating answer when asked for an out-of-context spoiler of the spin-off:
"In the show, Dae looks way better than I do."

As the show is based on long-distance relationships, Choi was queried on his views on the topic, and he did not disappoint lovelorn viewers of the "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" franchise.
The South Korea-based star strongly believed in the viability of long-distance relationships. When asked if he would travel 5,248 miles for love, akin to Kitty's journey in the series, the actor confidently affirmed his willingness. This endorsement from the K-drama actor suggests his openness to navigating the challenges and distances that can accompany romantic relationships across borders.
