Is Sasha Calle Gay? The Actress Has Not Revealed Her Sexuality and Keeps Her Love Life Private
Sasha Calle shot to global fame in 2021 when news broke that she would be DC's first non-white Supergirl, a.k.a. Kara Zor-El. Fans have since been curious about the actress's personal life and have speculated about her sexuality.
Sasha Calle was born with a passion for performing and loved to show it as a child. She drew her first breath in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 12, 1992, where she lived until she was ten.
The actress relocated to Colombia with her mom in 2002 but returned to the U.S. two years later. After graduating high school in Hollywood, Florida, she enrolled at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts.

Before she went to pursue acting, Calle loved singing and could not get enough of Disney's "High School Musical." While in high school, she took performing one of the movie's songs so seriously that she dressed like Gabriella Montez, a role played by Vanessa Hudgens.
The actress, who hails from humble beginnings, debuted onscreen in the 2017 sci-fi film short "18 Minutes," portraying a Colombian Reporter. She built her onscreen resume throughout that year before landing her longest-running role as Lola Rosales Abbott in "The Young and the Restless," opposite Eric Braeden, Melody Thomas Scott, and Joshua Morrow.
She was thrust further into the Hollywood spotlight after being cast as Supergirl. Her fanbase grew exponentially, and fans sought to know more about the young actress, particularly her love life and sexuality.

Sasha Calle Strongly Supports the LGBTQ+ Community
In honor of Pride Month in 2020, Calle displayed her allyship with the LGBTQ+ community. Alongside a photo of a young man holding up a protest sign that read, "Say it loud, say it proud, we are gay, and that's allowed," she wrote:
"Love is Love. We must defend and celebrate it! Happy month to be proud of who you are and who you love!! 🌈 link in my bio for ways to celebrate Pride..."
Calle tagged multiple organizations in her post, especially organizations that provide resources to members of the LGBTQ+ community, especially the Black LGBTQ+ members.
She Once Posted about Getting a Kiss in the Company of a Man
Sometime in 2019, Calle shared a video on her "life" Instagram Highlight, depicting her playfully pretending to leave kisses on a man's cheek, and ends with him chuckling. She captioned the adorable video, "He's wearing my cap. I get a kiss."
The man in the clip, whom the actress tagged, was actor Evan Bittencourt. Bittencourt joined the entertainment industry in the early 2010s. He has appeared in several movie shorts, including "Surfman" and "Bloodshot Animals."
The part-time music video model is chiefly recognized for his appearances in "Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists," opposite Sasha Pieterse and Sofia Carson, "Into the Dark," and "Chasing Life."
The actor has also starred as Tino in the 2018 comedy-drama, "Ideal Home," with Paul Rudd and Steve Googan. However, the nature of his relationship with Calle is yet to be confirmed.
