Grace Caroline Currey Is Not Only an Actress, but She's Also a Ballerina
In a March 2023 interview, Grace opened up about having a natural propensity to dance from a young age. She recalled seeing photos from her childhood showing her dancing to "invisible music" in the background.
Grace also remembered listening to classical music while her dad worked in their living room, tracing the lines and shapes of a large rug with her feet. Eventually, she started ballet classes and fell in love with the dance form.
"I've encountered my purest, least filtered feelings while in ballet class. [...] It's this inner world of communicating with my body and my body communicating with me," the young star mused. She added that sometimes it felt like she was wrestling with her muscles.
But at other times, "there's a gentle flow and ease." Following "Shazam: Fury of the Gods," alongside Zachary Levi, Rachel Zegler, and Asher Angel, Grace will star in a film where her ballet background comes into play. Details of the film, as of now, remain to be shared, and she hopes to jump in the director's seat in 2023.
