Priscilla Presley's only daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, died in January 2023 at age 54. The singer and songwriter died from cardiac arrest.

Following her passing, conflict ensued between her eldest child, Riley Keough, and her mother, Priscilla, regarding her estate. Moreover, Lisa's former spouse, Michael Lockwood, was granted custody of their twin daughters.

An insider has since claimed this was the last thing she wanted, as the pair were not on good terms. Lockwood, a musician, was reportedly left broke after his failed attempt to overturn a postnup in his messy divorce with Lisa.

In March 2023, a month after the Hollywood star's passing, he petitioned to become their children, Harper and Finley's legal guardian ad litem.

Los Angeles Judge Lynn Healey Scaduto granted Lockwood's request as his lawyer Scott Rahn said his client was now "ready, able, and willing to protect their assets."

The judge asked whether Lockwood had a pre-existing relationship with his daughters, and Rahn claimed that they all got along well.

"Lockwood has a good, collegial, familial relationship with all of the parties involved. He is not only legally bound but also morally bound to protect [the twins'] interests," said Rahn.

Despite this, an insider previously revealed that Lockwood, a music producer, was not invited to his former wife's funeral after her sudden passing.

The source further disclosed that the deceased's mother, Priscilla, managed to sneak him into the ceremony at Graceland in Memphis.

In addition to this, it remains unclear whether the "Lights Out" singer left any details regarding who should care for her young daughters after she died.

Priscilla Shows Grown-up Twin Granddaughters

Lisa and Lockwood's daughters recently graduated from middle school. Priscilla could not be prouder of her grandkids, and she gushed over them on social media alongside Riley Keough.

The family matriarch posted a snapshot on Instagram featuring herself, her eldest granddaughter, and the 14-year-old twins on June 16, 2023.

"Happy Graduation, girls! You're now in high school!!!" she captioned her post. The actress wore a yellow print dress while Keough donned a blue striped one with a sunhat. Meanwhile, Finley and Harper wore matching black shirts.

Priscilla's followers commented on the post, and one person wrote, "The girl to the left looks just like Elvis." Another user stated, "Omg, the dark-haired one looks just like her momma! Beautiful."

A fifth user stated, "Love this! Just to think Lisa and these beautiful grandchildren wouldn't have been here without you and Elvis. These girls are BOTH your legacies. Love you all."

How Did Keough Settle Her Million-Dollar Dispute with Priscilla?

This social media upload comes after the "Finding Graceland" star and "The Girlfriend Experience" star reached a legal agreement over Lisa's estate.

Keough is the sole Trustee of her late famous mother's estate, and as such, she is expected to pay her grandparent $1 million as part of a previous settlement reached by both parties, per court documents.

Priscilla and her grandchild reached an agreement in May 2023, and their lawyers stated at the time that details surrounding their settlement would be kept confidential. Although almost all mentions of the payment have been removed in court documents, one piece of info suggests that it was a hefty amount.

The documents revealed Keough would be giving her grandmother $400,000 for legal fees and that the amount would be paid together with the million. According to the court papers, the "Daisy Jones & The Six" star is set to pay Priscilla within ten days after receiving her mother's life insurance money.

Keough recently petitioned the court to approve the May settlement agreement. Her attorney, Justin Gold, said she would not be charging for services as a trustee while stating it is something Priscilla would have done.

Nonetheless, the documents revealed the 78-year-old was officially removed as Trustee of her daughter's estate on May 11, 2023. Gold explained this would not change whether Keough's petition gets approved because Priscilla had already signed a binding settlement agreement.

He further stated in the documents, "In settling the claims pending in Priscilla's Petition, the parties are saving significant legal fees by avoiding litigation, and they are likewise avoiding the spectacle of intra-family litigation that would have been inimical to Lisa's wishes and not in the best interests of the family."

In addition, Keough will also be the sole Trustee of the sub-trusts for her younger half-siblings, Harper and Finley. She will keep the money safe and invest it "in a manner consistent with the needs of the beneficiaries, and not influenced by the desire of a Trustee," the petition states.

Meanwhile, Priscilla will serve as the Trustee of the sub-trust of her son (Lisa's half-brother), Navarone Garibaldi, who has been given 1/9 of the Trust. So, the rest of the money will be split between Keough and the twins.
