Ronner Williams Is a Motivational Speaker – Facts about Serena & Venus Williams' Brother

Despite having a childhood filled with highs and lows—including having his father walk out of his life and later face a thirty-two-month prison sentence—Ronner Williams turned his life around and now shares his knowledge to help "millions of people achieve a better lifestyle."

In addition to their son Ronner Williams, Richard Williams and Betty Johnson share five children, including her older daughter from a previous relationship.

However, during a 2020 tell-all, Ronner Williams' older sister revealed that the Richard Williams the world has come to know and admire for coaching tennis sensations Venus and Serena Williams is not the admirable man his "first" family knew him to be.

After his father walked out on his family, Ronner hit a rough patch. However, he has since gotten back on track. He completed university, has a successful career, and is a proud family man.

Ronner Williams' Father Walked Out on His "First" Family

According to Ronner's older sister, Sabrina Williams, their parents often fought about their father's multiple infidelities. However, Richard and Betty could still provide their children with happy childhoods for the first few years of their lives. Ronner revealed:

"I will never forget where I came from and only wish children nowadays had half the chance at the fun and respect for real life we grew up with! And we were never bored. Times sure have changed."

However, Ronner's older sister revealed those fun days ended abruptly when Richard Wiliams walked out on his "first" family, later starting another with Venus Williams and Seren Williams' mother, and never looked back.

"He is a selfish man, lives only for himself. He just uses his kids to get what he needs. He's not a dad; he was just a sperm donor. He had five kids and left them to my mom to grow up in poverty and never once helped," Ronner's sister said.

Ronner Williams Had Trouble with the Law

Following his father's departure, Ronner and his brother were sentenced to prison. According to the California Department of Corrections records, Richard Jr. received a thirty-two-month sentence for a firearms offense.

Ronner, on the other hand, faced a sixty-eight-month sentence for second-degree robbery. To make matters worse, Ronner and his family were also impoverished as their late mother struggled to provide for her six children as a single parent.

Ronner Williams Turned His Life Around

After graduating from Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights, California, Ronner attended Mt. San Antonio College in 1994 and Citrus College in 1998.

Since 2014, he has been an Executive Trainer at 5LINX Enterprises Inc., a customer services company. He has also made a name for himself as a motivational speaker and part of The Mentors Club. Ronner, who is passionate about seeing people succeed, has a profile that reads:

Ronner is also currently in a relationship with a woman named Rhonda. In 2022, he wore a beaming smile as he documented his experience spending Christmas with her side of the family.

He also chronicles his travels on social media. In February 2023, he and Rhonda enjoyed a trip to Florida before he made his way to Tennessee to take in the "amazing" sights.
